Nrthwnd Posted April 29, 2024 Posted April 29, 2024 Quote Last thing I bought was lunch a few days ago. $32.87 - And I didn't even get to eat it Please explain, if you can? You bought - but not .... got? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ P.S. I just blew $70 (cdn) on 'three rubber duckies' for the Vancouver Fire Fighters' DUCK RACE in May. Who knows if I win something or not? The $ goes to a good cause in the city. EDIT to add: Have no idea where my ducks placed (ha ha), but....... nuthin'. And again, the $ goes to a good cause, here.
DoinItForTheFame Posted March 17, 2025 Posted March 17, 2025 Last thing I bought was a new fountain for our back yard living space. - It looks so good! Very happy with the purchase. 1
Nrthwnd Posted March 17, 2025 Posted March 17, 2025 ^ We're not touching our back yard till mid-April, lol. But for now ... Just bought online, a new copy of a 'revival' of young Stephen Sondheim's First Musical "Saturday Night", that never made it to Broadway, because one of the Big Backers of the show, had a sudden heart attack and never recovered from it. Truth! This is the newest version of it, from London. has some well-critiqued melodies and songs in it. So, am looking forward to it, and hearing some "New/Old" Sondheim!
Nrthwnd Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 A couple of days before The Day, I bought my usual set of scratch tix, this time actually paying a larger amount I'm not used to.... $20 ..... cdn. And some more candles at higher prices than my usual buy at Dollar Tree - they were totally sold out of all their tapers. No holiday ones, either. So, I paid over $40 Cdn for today's purchases. Merry, Mary!
