Can any1 tell me what ur supposed 2 do when ur using it to buy stuff? When I set up my card details I didnt get asked for my switch details, So how do I actually pay for it? I was on their help bit but I didnt get it  *Blonde* lol!! Any help would be fantastic!
coaster1 Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 Just do send money, put robb's email in and send the total .. you may want to add a few extra since paypal charges .. but that's up to you. To add a card, you have to wait until they place 2 deposits in the bank or card then you have to confirm it .. but to send money, you can use any card.

Is there a guideline of 'cost' in order to pay that "few extra" dollars for PP charges? I thought I had gone thru most of the PayPal site (I am already listed with it) finding such information. But nothing found. If I could still pay thru PayPal, I would gladly pay the few extra bucks to cover their (R&E) PP charges, on the transaction. As long as it's not an unreasonable amount. Robb? Elissa?
SharkTums Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I believe in the past we have asked for $1 extra if someone uses paypal to order a shirt or dvd. Paypal takes out about $1 on a $30 transaction. The exact percentage changes based on how the person paid, what currency they paid in, etc. This is why for the UK trip we discovered the Paypal eCheck which seems to only take out a flat $5 even on large amounts (people paypal'ing us $1000's of dollars) So you may want to look into that option if you ever purchase something large.

Well I think that is probably down to R&E to specify which I'm sure they will do if admin costs become overbearing. Can be resolved with a payment table e.g. - if paying by check - dandy - if paying by Paypal add $5 - if paying from Canada - add 300% and donate a pair of shoes
Nrthwnd Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 if paying from Canada - add 300% and donate a pair of shoes Wow. That all? I thought it'd be like a toque or somethin'... Wow.
