It says to unzip them into your object data folder and then you can use them. I tried it and I cant get them to work....any help? BTW, some of the rides include...... -Flight sim -top scan -gravatron -zipper -diving bell -hell raiser they cool and all for RCT2! thanks
coaster_type_of_person Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 on amazing earl it says to copy them into the objdata and then it says " The Ride will then be available the next time you open game's Scenario Editor."
benzo41190 Posted November 27, 2005 Author Posted November 27, 2005 ive tried but it still wasnt there
Freefall Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 congratulations, that is by far the longest link i have ever seen in my life!
coasterfreak101 Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Yeah, same question here. But mine is for scenery packs. I did what AE said but it didn't work!!! I got rides in, but I don't think I put them into ObjData :?
krouvi Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 This is strange. I downloaded these rides too and they are working like all other rides. I think sometimes there are problems because RTC got different versions so this may be the problem .
benzo41190 Posted December 4, 2005 Author Posted December 4, 2005 I found out my problem I downloaded the "hellraiser" ride and at first i couldnt find it. Then I realized the file was "Riggs Hell Raiser". So I looked in the editor and it was there! The rides are really cool, so put them in your object data folder and I would change the name of the file to something easy to remember. Then look in the editor and should be there because it should be in ABC order.

I would advise against renaming them, you see, when you download\send a park with custom rides, and you send them with the park, someone else has them, but in this case, some people would have a duplicate of the same ride\stall in their folder taking up space, as theres something like a 2000 dat limit for rct2 -Devious
benzo41190 Posted December 5, 2005 Author Posted December 5, 2005 yeah but what if the name is very custom?
coasterboi Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Ok this is how to do it No1.Download the file No2.Cut all of them Out of the file No3.Go to my computer No4.click on HDD(C:) No5.Click on Program Files No6 Click on infograms then click on rollercoaster tycoon 2 in the file No6.Paste Them into the ObjData Then Go to scenario editor and you should be able to chose them in the ride selsction Have fun
