MattJackson Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Hey, Elissa, Robb, (anyone else?) are you planning or thinking about going to Six Flags Great Adventures next year? It would be nice to see some "recent" footage of their new coaster(s). I live relatively close to it, but I don`t have a website . ET and KK look very fun, KK is a little rough in the back, though (rode it last year, first load after breakdown was fixed ). Hope to hear from you!!!
CoasterFanatic Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 You can ride the local NJ Transit to the park, but you want Robb and Elissa to personally travel 3000 miles to tape the rides for you. Weird
robbalvey Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 We do plan to come out next year for both ET and KK. We'll contact the park before our visit and hopefully we'll get the chance to mount our cameras on the rides! --Robb

No way!! If they weren`t planning on coming, I wouldn`t ask them to come just to film two coasters!! I`m just saying that if they were coming, they might as well film them while they`re there!! I know they`re not within easy traveling distance. (Besides I`m way jealous that the six flags park closest to them is open year round, while mine are closed for the year, even though the weather is still fair )
zburns999 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 ^What. I don't see anything wrong with what he posted.
maliboomer Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 KK is a little rough in the back, though (rode it last year, first load after breakdown was fixed ) Uh... am I the only one who doesn't get this?

MattJackson Posted November 12, 2005 Author Posted November 12, 2005 Oops, did I say "last year"? I meant I rode the first public load last August. BTW did anyone see brake fins on Kingda Ka's launch track? I didn`t pay it much attention to it when I was there and I want to know how it handles rollbacks.
Jeezus Juice Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 ^ It rolls back and stops. What don't you get? The air is released as the train is launched and the springloaded brakes rise up.
