Ride Entertainment has unveiled their newest creation from the team at Funtime, Booster Unhinged. This evolution of their original Booster flat ride concept features three axes of rotation, two controlled and one gravity-driven.

Taking Over-the-Top Thrills Up Another Notch

 

Booster Unhinged is the latest extreme thrill creation from the team at Funtime. Taking the proven Booster concept and elevating the thrill yet another level, Booster Unhinged places riders in individual seats that initially face perpendicular to the arm’s direction of travel. Once the ride cycle begins, thrill-seekers experience three motions all at once: the rotation of the main arm, the controlled rotation of the seating rig, and finally the signature side-to-side gravitational free flipping of the seats. Booster Unhinged comes with instant capacities of 8 (4 seats on each end of the arm) and 16 (8 seats on each end of the arm). The incredibly exposed ride experience delivered in the individual seats guarantees unobstructed visuals as riders arc their way through the sky not knowing which way is up.

 

Riders are restrained by an over-the-shoulder-restraint. The seats and restraint are covered in a layer of soft-foamed polyurethane, which ensures maximum passenger comfort. The restraint is made redundant by use of dual-actuating hydraulic system. This locking mechanism can only be opened with an operator activated release key, which guarantees maximum rider safety.
