The Angry Darren Mullins Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 January 14, 2019: The Great European Carnival (Hong Kong) This is the fifth year in a row for the Great European Carnival in Hong Kong and I always make a point to go each year. The carnival is in Hong Kong's Central district on the harbor. It is always fun. This year was no exception. Crash Test is a spinning coaster that is making it's second appearance at the carnival. It is a bit rough and my car did not spin (other cars did). There is also a wacky worm called Family Roller Coaster. One ride is four circuits long. There are other rides here like a portable rapids ride and so on. I noticed that many of the rides this year were the same as last year. They usually change the rides every couple of years, so maybe next year a different coaster will be brought in and hopefully a scrambler type of ride will be brought in like the one they had a couple of years ago. The carnival runs through mid-February for those of you who may be visiting Hong Kong in the next few weeks. It is my fifth year in a row to visit the Great European Carnival in Hong Kong. This is always right inside the gate. Adults can't ride this. I like the appearance of this wave swinger ride. This is one of the many rides that are entertaining guests at the carnival this year. A ride on Family Roller Coaster is four circuits. This portable rapids ride has appeared here for a few years now. Crash Test is appearing here for the second year in a row. It is a bit rough. This will close the TR.
AmyUD06 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 Great report. Man do I miss those tank-control bumper cars....used to be a set at Dorney (gas powered even!) and similar electric ones in Wildwood.
