ImNotOneOfYou
Also, I'm amazed you found Wild Beast tolerable. That things was f*cking brutal and terrible for me. One of the worst wooden coasters I've ridden and the worst in North America. But hey, if you like it, great. Someone's gotta ride it. Looking foreword to seeing the rest of the trip report. Do you know where you sat? if you don't it's okay because I forget already There might be a difference between the front and back. Looking foreword to the rest of the trip report? I am too so HERE'S SOME MORE!!!! Where could we be? It's everyone's favorite park on Lake Erie! Wait Cedar Point is on Lake Erie. It's Waldameer. First ride was Ravine Flyer II I see a drop tower And it's the good kind And they have a log flume! I'm not sure if there's a good kind of log flume but this was definitely a log flume This ride kind of scares me. It was shaking a lot Temporarily leaving the park And we're back! Comet time I do say it is fairly decent. I forget where this was taken No thanks I'll do this one Lakemont Park has one of these so you know they're not trying to be bad The flat ride collection is nice here. Not Canada's Wonderland level, but close to Delgrosso's This was so close to being my #150 A credit is a credit ##149 And we got dots Leaving the park because we have somewhere to be But where could that be? And just like that, Waldameer is done. There are no pictures of Steel Dragon because it decided to be broken that day Because you all love reviews I think Ravine Flyer II: It wasn't the smoothest but it was smoother than Voyage. In other words, it was smooth but I want it to be smoother. You get whipped over the drop in the back . The airtime was not as good as Voyage, but definitely there. Top 10? Top 10! Comet: I think I was second row from the back on this one. Nobody cares about this ride enough so they just let in enough people to fill the train so the first in line are the first to choose. It wasn't thrilling at all, but looking back, I think it was meant to not be that thrilling. Ravine Flyer III: A credit is a credit. Drop Tower (whatever it's called): Just like the one at Delgrosso's, it was amazing. Nobody in my group knew about the amazingness of these rides, so they were a little skeptical when I said it could beat up the one at KI or KD in a fight, especially considering it's height. They didn't seem too impressed by the height when we were at the top, but it had an amazing view of Lake Erie. When we hit the brakes after the drop, everyone was telling me how it was amazing. Man, I love being right. Flume (whatever it's called): I'm not much of a log flume connoisseur, but I do enjoy the one at Knoebels more. This park was an interesting park. They abolished cash so you need to get a 'Wally Card'. It must be hard for perfectionists to get a Wally Card and leave 17 cents on it. The food was very cheap at the park. With 10 USD, I got a corn dog and some sort of icee and had enough left to get a cheeseburger. At other parks, 10 USD can get you about half of a complete meal. I would go back to the park, but I wouldn't drive the ~5 hours for just the park. I would go there to break up long car rides, perhaps on the way to Cedar Point. Looking back, I think that's the only reason we went to Waldameer. Up next: Another park on Lake Erie you may have heard of.

ImNotOneOfYou
Speaking of Mean Streak, it will make a cameo appearance soon because HERE COMES CEDAR POINT! Cleveland at night Speaking of cities, does anyone happen to know what city this could be? I took this last year at about 9 pm on a 16 hour bus ride from central Jersey to Cincinnati that started at 6:30 in the morning (if that helps) And we arrive! Breakers Express parking lot the following morning Walking to the Marina Gate We're here Lift hill shot Valravn definitely made the marina gate more exciting The park opened, to Millennium Force! We wasted our hour of early entry waiting for Millennium Force (it didn't open) Waiting Still waiting Waiting some more On the verge of giving up Yeah we gave up To Maverick! The line was still fairly short Millennium Force fans beware Best ride in the park Stacking at Cedar Point? I added a nature to the TR, I love the environment Next we went to the town hall But it wasn't for this Mean Streak replica... Another unintentional cliffhanger... ImNotOneOfYou
What brought me to the town hall? What could possibly be more important than a replica of Mean Streak? Anyone who cares to follow this trip report will find out RIGHT NOW!!! Am I a credit whore yet? Hold on Wilderness Run, Mean Streak is here It's such a beautiful structure Second to back row and it was very tolerable Dare I say 7/10? Now walking to Gemini Possibly the most underrated coaster in existence. Just don't get a wheel seat. Do I see a Wilderness Run? Now watch how many pictures I take of Top Thrill Dragster I have never seen the park this empty. Dragster was no more than 30 minutes Another one Some people were waiting for the front so we hit up Power Tower. More Top Thrill Dragster There's a train so it's a new picture We're not going to Valravn, but a ride much better. Any guesses? Wait how long has that second structure been there? And it is... Sky Ride! I haven't been on this since 2010 Excellent views. Not as good as Space Spiral. #rebuildspacespiral
coasterbill
Space Spiral, better than Sky Ride? Once again... Lol we don't agree on much of anything. Great report though.

coasterbill
I usually rode it once a visit but I don't care at all that it's gone. Windseeker serves the same purpose but is a much better and more visually appealing ride. It was really strange to have the Ferris Wheel, Windseeker and Space Spiral all right next to eachother, each providing a similar experience. And as far as Sky Ride goes, I love that thing to death. Not only does it provide great views and offer a really relaxing ride but it also saves you walking and makes the main midway look awesome from the ground. MrSum1_55
Seeing these TCT trip reports brings back memories for me. When I was 14-16, these trips were the best things ever for me. I aged out of it a couple years ago, and I now mostly do solo trips. But even my solo trips I plan more in the style of TCT trips, but I have since gained more of an interest in historical sightseeing in between visitng parks. The trips do flow more smoothly than one might think for a camp of teenagers. The groups are usually kept small, and most of the campers are teens who are really into coasters and do not want to cause any trouble. That being said, there was usually at least one entitled rich kid, but generally the problem kids were the ones who were not that into coasters, and just went because their parents were rich. I might go back as a counselor one day, but only if I end up on the east coast for some other unrelated reason. I live in Nevada now, but if I end up attending graduate school back east I may consider being a councelor.

ImNotOneOfYou
The park hasn't changed either so HERE'S MORE PICTURES FROM CEDAR POINT! What's the point of this cow? On to GateKeeper Then Wicked Twister We all got 'I'm Celebrating At Cedar Point!' pins and someone's fell off They got those pins because I got one last year and they are all apparently jealous I'll never part with that pin Raptor's line was so empty we got to wait for the front Valravn is a great addition to the CP Skyline I think I took this picture because I donated 10 cents Blue Streak! That's enough Blue Streak Raptor's new paint job If Raptor's vibrant green wasn't next door this color would be fine I don't have much to say about Valravn But I do have things to say about Raptor And there's a Rougarou! Some people say Rougarou is a really bad ride I doubt they've been on Mantis Rougarou is such an improvement Iron Dragon <3 And this post ends with Rougarou. If I try do you think I can get the GP to think it valleyed in this picture?
ImNotOneOfYou
New day so NEW PICTURES!!! More Top Thrill Dragster Even more Magnum time! Car 1 row 3 and a tightened seat belt. They aren't lying! And now we go to MaxAir Just kidding it broke so here's GateKeeper These pictures take a long time to upload. I consider this empty for Millennium Force This is where we stopped. And we were in the station in no time So many empty rows. It makes me sad but also happy because less waiting for me. We either waited for someone who decided to wait for the front or waited for someone who was waiting for the ride to be fixed. I forget Did we do Valravn? No we left the park to get food. You're a grand old flag, You're a high flying flag And forever in peace may you wave. You're the emblem of The land I love. The home of the free and the brave. Ev'ry heart beats true 'neath the Red, White and Blue, Where there's never a boast or brag. Should auld acquaintance be forgot, Keep your eye on the grand old flag. And we're back! Starting off the night with Cedar Downs I think now's a good time to use those passes. Y'all remembered about those passes, right? Only two people in my group wanted to do the small coasters but half of the group was indifferent. Still, the rest weren't too happy And here's my 150. There was another coaster that I said was my 150 including powered coasters. I think I said it was Ravine Flyer 3 but I found an error in my math. Valravn was 150 with, Woodstock's Express was 150 without.
coasterbill
If you had to keep waiting for front seat riders, why wouldn't you just always wait for the front too? Especially on a ride like Dragster where it makes the ride infinitely better. By the way, in the case of Raptor the front seat line is never long. I never ride it in any other seat. The front left is where it's at, but if you're one of those people who whines about the "raptor snap" then please avoid it. That seat is only for fun people (which based on your report, it seems that you are).

Especially on a ride like Dragster where it makes the ride infinitely better. Our groups usually have a "dont wait for the front" policy, especially at Cedar Point, to save time. The entitled rich kid of the group insisted on waiting for either the front or back on every coaster for it's first ride on it. On Top Thrill Dragster, since the wait for the front was almost always much longer than any other seat, we were able to get off and ride Power Tower a few times. I don't know if I will be believed, but on Power Tower, the ride operator let us stay on for a reride
GCI Wooden
Our groups usually have a "dont wait for the front" policy, especially at Cedar Point, That's a stupid policy when you have Dragster. Also, I haven't seen this angle of Gatekeeper before, nice picture: DID SOMEONE SAY PICTURE??? Empty station for Mine Ride I forget what this is Making captions for 500 pictures is hard AND DAY 2 BEGINS!! Walking to the marina gate once again This time Millennium Force didn't break as we were waiting But it did break when my train was on the brake run That was my first time getting the first train of the day on MF and the first time having a ride break on me I think It's very photogenic Wait no it's not just the lift hill. Credit? Credit! Empty Corkscrew Short lines aren't always good Despite the devoted following, my group didn't make it onto Iron Dragon on Day 1 I wonder what ride we could be in line for Not the Ferris Wheel TROIKA Troika troika I'm in!! Now we get on it We're so devoted to Iron Dragon we were all allowed to wait for the front I promised to paparazzi Iron Dragon And this segment of #TCT2016 ends on dots
coasterbill
Great report! But let's dork out... I forget what this is It's the roof of the tunnel on Frontier Trail going under Millennium Force Empty Corkscrew Corkscrew got a lot taller, faster and redder since the last time I saw it. When all you have is a picture that's too small to make out any distinguishable features and Corkscrew as the next picture mistakes are bound to be made I forget what this is It's the roof of the tunnel on Frontier Trail going under Millennium Force Now I remember why I took that picture. ImNotOneOfYou
I just noticed you can see my shadow in the 6th picture. You'll also be able to see some MORE NEW PICTURES!!! I want this to become a recurring theme in my trip reports And another Top Thrill Dragster picture But we went to Mean Streak! We had unofficial assigned seats on Mean Streak. I was car lastcar, row 1, left side. If it was bad there I wouldn't have ridden it again. And we pause the roller coasters for a show at Palace Theater It was a pretty swell show This park has so much Ominous clouds approach That storm passed. There wasn't that much to it but at Cedar Point it's enough to bring a lot of stuff down But it's not over yet. The rest didn't begin yet Raptor was a walk on for every row but the fron But we took an exception to the rule because Cedar Point knows how to run rides efficiently. Night time begins on our final day at Cedar Point The park was so empty I finally got on Windseeker There was a beach party going on so why not? I'm starting to think 2 days isn't enough to fully experience Cedar Point Last ride on Top Thrill Dragster? No it broke down and we were short on time Last ride on Mean Streak? No because I decided to wait for the front because I wanted to see how much better it would be if I sat in the front and leaned forwards like coasterbill always says. I sat down in the seat. I SAT DOWN! And some noise starts to noise. Then dots start to appear on the track. It was raining! So they kick us off the train and since we had to get to Millennium Force we had to leave the ride. They were only running one train, so if they ran both I would have been on. After some intense Millennium Force riding, it's time to leave. Goodbye Cedar Point AAaaand it's the next day and the drive to East-Central Pennsylvania begins. I'm tempted to move here but living in Ohio is a subject of many jokes.
