historyfreak92 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Hi there, I am back for just a week, I just thought I might show you of what I have created about a month ago with my Uncle in Galveston on our break! !!!PARADISE PIER!!! Opened as an Seaside Boardwalk Pier at Brownsville (what I choosed) in 1922! SCR1.BMP The overview of the Texas Pier, The small Town of Brownsville, & the Gulf of Mexico! SCR8.BMP The backside if the Pier! SCR9.BMP Quite Colorful, & lovely isn't it! Although it has some Inspiration from Atlantic City's Steel Pier, Clarence Pier, & Fantasy Island (England). SCR13.BMP The first Entrance way! SCR15.BMP A classic Wooden Mouse Coaster named Cheesy Mice, (I'm wondering if these were designed in the 20's!), but I either choose 1926, or just anywhere in the 60's! But it's quite an Charming Ride! SCR16.BMP An rare Virginia Reel Spinner! Named the Wheely Reel built as one of the First Rides on the Pier in 1992, though it has been Renovated with Brilliant Colors, has Sparking Water Effects, gives out an Wonderful Thrill! SCR17.BMP One of the Corners of the Pier, I had some troubles doing this but I'm glad I gave it a Try, The two Tower rides Gives an Scenic View of the Gulf, Beach, & Town! SCR19.BMP The Last Screen for the day, & the download is available if Interested! The park gives the peeps an Breezefull Day, & Night! Paradise Pier.SV6 Here it is! Enjoy!
fraroc Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I like how the park has that crowded boardwalk feel to it where even though it doesn't utilize much scenery or landscaping, it's still somewhat realistic. However, the one thing I don't find realistic about this park is if this park takes place in modern times, I find it really unrealistic to have a wooden wild mouse and a Virginia reel, seeing as how there is only one wooden wild mouse left in the world and I don't think there are any Virginia reels left at all.

Most Boardwalk Parks don't have much scenery or theming due to lack of space 2. There are about 5 Wooden Mice still operating http://rcdb.com/r.htm?nm=na&ex=1&ty=2&lo=95&ot=2
fraroc Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 I literally had NO idea about the other four wooden wild mice, I've been thinking for years that the one at Blackpool was the only one left.
historyfreak92 Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 Me too! The one in Blackpool opened in 1958! But I understand about the scenery deal! I really wanted to put Palm Trees in it, but nope it wouldn't let me! But I just like it the way I tried it, & made it!
coasterbill Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 I really like this, it's just a nostalgia overload to the days when RCT2 didn't have so much hyper-detailing.
historyfreak92 Posted June 19, 2015 Author Posted June 19, 2015 Paradise Pier with New Rides, also little updated! Why thanks Coasterbill! I have built New Coasters, one of the is dated back then so here it is! SCR5.BMP Here is the Changed overview of the Pier, also where the Houses, & Land is, I detailed it! SCR13.BMP When you walk to the Front Entrance, you hear something, !IT'S AN SCREAMING ANTON SCHWARZKOPF COASTER RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! SCR16.BMP Octopus built in 1985, makes a good Attraction to the Park! SCR18.BMP The two loops! SCR22.BMP The third loop, & we come upon an Intamin Half Pipe built in 2006 nice though! SCR23.BMP An Mack Family Inverted Harping Coaster as the Seabreeze built in 2001, a Breezeful ride! SCR24.BMP Whoops! Something just came out of the water! A S&S Air Coaster built in 2013 as the Waterhorse (or any name that has something to do with Ocean?), though it's a very popular ride! Paradise Pier (new rides).SV6 Here you go, check out the scenery I made it look very nice! I went for a Pacific Park feel, but alrighty! (OHIO PLAYERS LOVE ROLLERCOASTER!)
NieSch Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Charming little park. I really like the Virginia Reel; nice colors and design.
