dn619 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 I live in the UK and in may will be taking my first trip to cedar point and kings island. Then in July i am planning a trip to germany. I was thinking of visiting Heide Park then Hoilday Park and then Europa Park. I was looking into Hoilday Park as Expedition G Force is talked about a lot but the park dosen't have a lot there. Is it worth going to just for this ride or is there any where else thats better?
larrygator Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Is it worth going to just for this ride or is there any where else thats better? There are parks that are better in Germany, but you won't find a better coaster in Germany. You have to decide what is more important to you.
Nrthwnd Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 There's also the new Sky Screamer coaster (what kind is it again?) at Holiday Park, and the Sky Fly flat ride that is supposed to open in July. A pretty awesome horror dark ride (Burg Falkenstein) there I remember, too. And the messed up boat ride... Other cool stuff is there. But if you just want to go there for the coasters, it would still be worth it to go to the park. And Expedition G Force is worth a definite several re-rides, too, lol. (And a great Star Flyer, too!) Sky Fly. Having never ridden one, it looks pretty cool to me. (o: (This was from the Holiday Park thread.)
dn619 Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 Thanks for the replies. Think i might take a trip to holiday world
BDG Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Combine Holiday Park with a visit to Tripsdrill. Only an hour away.
Werner Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Don't miss out on Phantasialand! Heide Park(Hamburg) is in North Germany, where Holiday(Near Frankfurt) and Europa(1 hour above Basel) are more South Germany. Phantasialand(Cologne) is about half way there...
K1ngdaKa88 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 What about Hansa Park? It is 1 1/2 hours north of Heide Park and 1 hour north of Hamburg. And there you have the new Gerstlauer Hyper Coaster, Kärnan, and also other coasters.
dn619 Posted March 4, 2015 Author Posted March 4, 2015 wasn't going to spend long in north germany. was gonna fly to the north, go to heide park and then fly south and go to europa park and hoilday park. To many parks to few days.
dn619 Posted March 5, 2015 Author Posted March 5, 2015 So if you only had time for 3 parks in Germany what would they be?
