Twister II Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 For some reason, Windows Media Player froze and when I try to do the Ctrl/Alt/Delete, the task manager dosnt come up. Is there any manual way to do this? I really dont want to restart my computer, Im using Windows XP Home Edition.
Wes Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 You realize the amount of time it takes to post this thread and wait for a reply, you probably could have restarted? Yeah. Restart. "Hey guys my gas tank light says Empty but I don't really wanna go fill up my tank. Is there anything else I can put in my engine to make it run?"
Twister II Posted October 3, 2005 Author Posted October 3, 2005 ^Vegitable Oil There is always some other way.
benzo41190 Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 that is why I got a Mac, it hardely ever freezes
Token Yankee Guy Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 ^ yeah, but when you get the pinwheel of death, then all hell breaks loose. Trust me, I've seen issues with a mac and I think it's harder for a mac to rebound from a crash than a PC. In my Digital Editing class we were in one of the computer labs which has brand new iMac G5's and I went on my usual computer and it was already logged in under someone, so I logged out...but nothing happend, it stopped responding. So I had to shut it off and turn it back on, and from then, it wouldn't boot up the OS. "Hey guys my gas tank light says Empty but I don't really wanna go fill up my tank. Is there anything else I can put in my engine to make it run?" Sunshine and happiness wes, that's what makes my hot wheels run.
CoasterFanatic Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 Right-Click on the task bar and select "Task Manager". When you are "terminaled" into another machine this is the only choice you have, as CTRL-ALT-DEL would bring it up on YOUR computer.
