verticalzero Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Is SFOT Park in the line of fire from Hurricane "Rita"..? What will be left standing if it is getting the full force. Any news on SFNO..?
Imhotep Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Astroworld is closed this weekend due to Rita. SFoT is probably far enough north to where they wont really be affected.
coaster1 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 SFOT is about 280-300 miles from the coast .. we may get some serious flooding since the storm is expected to stall over us for a few days.
SharkTums Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Yeah aren't there pictures of Titan and Shockwave underwater? Again, these temporary floodings is one thing Six Flags parks seem to be used to and can handle...SFNO on the other hand is screwed!
coaster1 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Titan floods in normal spring thunderstorms .. the creek floods on occasion as well ... but they said anywhere from 15-38" of rain from sunday to tuesday ... and thats ALOT considering we are 8" below normal right now.
Angry_Gumball Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Just watching the news, New Orleans is definitely screwed again. All the water that got pumped out has come back.
