RCTrioFan Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 (edited) EDIT: Park o hiatus, too big of a park to work on for now. Look for RCT2: Tulip Thrills soon (around new-yearsish) Hello! I'm back! The reason I haven't been on is because I quit RCT2 for a while, but I'm back! My name is RCTrioFan, here to show you the newest park created by me, who else? This will be my first actual attempt at a park, using the "Build your own Six Flags" scenario. Anyway, onto the pictures: SCR8.BMP The entrance of the park. SCR9.BMP Focusing on past the entrance. SCR10.BMP The Volcanic Sparkles, a hidden themed dodgems attraction, and an unnamed impulse coaster, located on the "Forlorn Empires" side of the park. SCR11.BMP The Tree Chopper, a twirling ride hidden in the trees, a frog hopper for the family, and Cube Canyon Endeavors, a sinkhold-themed enterprise on the "Forlorn Trails" side of the park. SCR12.BMP A different view of the above. SCR13.BMP A view of the family friendly coaster, Ambient Train! This is probably my best themed coaster to date (because I mainly just build them). SCR14.BMP An overview of Ambient Train's layout. SCR16.BMP I leave you with an overview of the land we have to do. C&C appriciated, thank you! Edited December 26, 2011 by RCTrioFan
paradisecoaster Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Good start, only thing that crosses me is the green path. It seems kinda diffuse to me...
deathbydinn Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Looks good so far, my only problem is the impulses supports. The support towers should be moved inside of the track, or just done away with completely, as right now, the rides would smack face first into them. The also shouldn't go all the way to the top. The straight spike's should go about halfway up, while the twisted should only go up until where it starts turning. Other than that, it's a good start.
-Edge of Beast- Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Nice job! I agree with the supports for the Impulse also, they are pretty week and probably couldn't hold up something that heavy. They're also just something that wouldn't look good with an Intamin coaster. Another thing that's bothering me is that Enterprise in the ground, you may want to fix that.
Jerrykoala2112 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I actually saw this park before, but didn't leave a comment for some reason. First, I want to give you major props for using the Six Flags map, as that is the map I usually play with when I decide to build a park, it's a great map. So far, your park looks great! I love the area of the park the mine train is in, and you did a great job with the foliage. The bumper cars look great, never saw someone place a ride like that before! I also am intrigued by the way you did the path in different colors, yet, still turn out pretty neat. Great job!
thrillrideseeker Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Looking good, the only suggestion I have is changing that giant "Welcome" sign that stands in front of the Carousel. It is knd of distracting standing up like that. Maybe make it a horizontal sign instead of a vertical sign?? Other than that looking good!! ~Matt
coastercrazy 9 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I agree with the posters above me, and to add on to the supports, the train looks as if it would collide with the supports. Other that that great job!
RCTrioFan Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 I can;t update right now because I have my computer at staples being fixed, but the park is not dead and I have majorly changed the park. So stay tuned, and for all the intamin impulse coaster haters I have removed the coaster. Keep the comments roling/
