djrappa Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Hey guys Just downloaded (and then had to sort a codec, I hear you Robb in your thoughts on mpeg) the interview of you two for the Italian theme park site. Was this at the end of a really long day or something? Was very amusing to watch but you guys seemed a little out of it there Enjoying the photos (all over again)
Meteornotes Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 It was 110 degrees that day, so I think everyone was pretty drained at that point. Mary and I were off taking pictures of Katun when they were getting interviewed, so I never saw it until now. Pretty good interview... dt
djrappa Posted August 28, 2005 Author Posted August 28, 2005 Yeah I thought so... but could definately see the 'drained' factor
SharkTums Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 ^^You forgot 110 degrees and 100% humidity. It was one of the hottest days (temperaturewise) I've even experienced. It pretty much sucked! But Katun was great, and they had good Italian food!
AllisonY2K Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 I am having problems downloading the video. I did have it downloaded at one time but I figured maybe it was a bad download because it crashed every player I tried to use to play the clip. (DivX, MediaPlayer, QuickTime, WinAmp, RealPlayer)
Erik Johnson Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 I watched the video an noticed that Elissa says she had a good friend who convinced her to ride a coaster. I was wondering which coaster it was...
robbalvey Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 It was one of those more "Akward" moments for us. They never told us they wanted to "interview" us, and we are still of that opinion of like "Why do you want to interview us?!?! What do we do that's worthy of getting an interview?!??!" And the questions were kind of like 'normal' questions. Same thing when I did that radio show, I just don't know what to say most of the time that doesn't sound so cookie cutter "my favorite roller coaster is....." --Robb
Erik Johnson Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 How cool is that? That was my very first inverting coaster. Check this story out....though I ride it now: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18607&start=40 Though you have to scan down a little bit.
djrappa Posted August 31, 2005 Author Posted August 31, 2005 HAHAHA Robb, that's a wicked answer! That certainly puts it all in perspective.
