imawesome1124 Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) Hello TPR, After following the construction of that new GCI woodie in China I got myself thinking, "How would someone build one of these in RCT2?" Well, that is the inspiration behind this contest. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to build a monster terrain coaster, like the one in China. Here are your constraints: -You can use any track type you want for this contest. They will all be graded the same. -You can use any terrain texture that you want. You can choose to build it either in a valley, or on a mountainside like Boulderdash. -You can use any scenery that you want. They will be graded the same whether they are NCS or CS. -You can use 8cars for any merges you want. -The map must be no less than 50X50, but no more than 90X90. -The terrain you use must fill up the whole map. -You MUST include the following on your coaster: At least a 75 feet terrain height difference, at least a 100 feet coaster height difference, a minimum length of 4,000 feet, a minimum ride time of 2:30, NEW RULE: it must interact with the terrain, theming, and something on the ground(river, path, other ride), at least one underground section, a theme for the coaster. -You MUST include the following in your map: Coaster(duh!!) with all the requirements met, at least one place to by food, at least 3 flat rides, eye-appealing landscaping. New Rule: You may use no more than ONE other coaster and ONLY if it is under 20 feet. Submitting: Use this thread to post updates on progress. To submit your entry, PM me no later than February 19. How about this for a rule change, the coaster must interact with the terrain, theming, and something at the ground. Rivers get you extra points though, just letting you know if you want to do a path instead of a river.
