CorkscrewFoley Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 (edited) I haven't come up with a full story line yet for my park like other have, only because I'm still deciding on certain aspects as I go along. The gist of it is, it's going to be a park in the Pacific Northwest, where there's alot of rain...the Disney influence is there, and it's a park I've had in my mind that I've been wanting to work on. Any input you have is what I need, and will appreciate. Thanks. Tim. SCR1.BMP Here's Keystone Street, the later photos will show why it's called it. SCR2.BMP In here will be a ride called Enflightenment...the name will change, but there'll be a carpet ride there ala Aladdin. SCR9.BMP Here will be the queue for my enclosed coaster Vortex. I included a queue for Fast pass, AND there's a gift shop for when you come out. SCR8.BMP The last for now is the Brookhaven Museum--an actual walk through attraction, and next to it is old man Bremen's Clock Shop...word on the street, he's doing more than just fixing time... SCR12.BMP Ooops, I forgot to post the shot of Keystone Street...and here's why we named it... Edited November 29, 2010 by mcjaco
Thelegendarymatthew Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Biggest flaw so far is that the textures of the roofs(the side, not the roof itself) don't match up with the walls. Other stuff is that there is one building with like 5 different roof colors. No one can see that roof, so its rather pointless. The entrance, and the balloons. It looks like one of those items that someone tried to put into RCT2, but the result failed. I would replace it, and you can do that while your in the editor.
CorkscrewFoley Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 Thank you sir. I'll probably play little later on, and I'll have a go at it. Anything you like? (I always like something good during criticism).
AlmereStars Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 I already love it for the fact that you have CM Punk as your picture Uhm its not a bad start, I would mix up the roofs a little bit. Give it multiple levels, play with it a little. that way it won't be too flat or "simple" and with the right details it would look good Though its really not a bad start, your use of the paths (different colours, texture etc.) is actually pretty good
CorkscrewFoley Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 Congrats, you're the second person who knows Punk on here. Yeah, the roofs were done like a week ago, some of the more current buildings the roof is layered, and bit more creative. I wasn't sure at the time if I was going to be working on this park this long. I actually have a part of the park where it's like glass and white, kind of like an Expo, and I'll have a frog hopper in one, and a Wave Swinger (with fountains) in another.
tdub96 Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Wrestling is fake.... Anyways, definetly put some texture on the roofs: flat steel blocks, fenced around the flat part with stuff on top to make it seem like air conditioners/vents/chimneys/etc. That should help the rooves. All in all, everything is waay too blocky as far as buildings go, and I hate the entrance with the balloons, doesnt really go with the rest of RCT2. And, cut down on the use of that bright red pathing, its kind of ugly... Just my opinions, dont take it personally, just trying to help.
CorkscrewFoley Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 Not taking anything personally...I asked for some thoughts. I did fix some of it today, and the day I did the Museum (and the building for Vortex, I had had enough. Oh, and WRESTLING'S NOT FAAAAAAKE!
imawesome1124 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Wrestling is definately fake. My dad's cousin is a professional wrestler. He says it is all for showmanship. Edit: I forgot to coment on the park. It is too colorful in my opinion, but keep working at it and it will become a good park.
B.A.B Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Dude wrestling is really fake but now if you want some real fighting it is called UFC, but the park is good though.
CorkscrewFoley Posted December 5, 2010 Author Posted December 5, 2010 I know wrestling's fake. Truth is, I can sit and watch matches online via YouTube all day, and can barely sit through a single period of hockey (unless Montreal's playing). I'm still working on the park, I'm trying to come up with a coaster for the back, but having no luck.
MeMeMe Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 and can barely sit through a single period of hockey (unless Montreal's playing) Best team EVAR! Oh, and great park. Better than I can do, but then again, not much I can do.
