alpengeist04 Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Actually, your timing was great with posting this trip report. I'm heading to the park on Monday, so seeing some pictures gets me even more excited. It's been 4 years since I last visited this great little park, so I'm really looking forward to riding Tremors and Timber Terror again. ...So thanks for the great trip report.
alilstronger Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Beautiful park! I hope to get to visit eventually.

Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Nice to see a TR of Silverwood. Those buildings are incredibly cute indeed. That's one thing I like about smaller parks that actually spend quite a bit of time on their decor. I've been wanting to go to Silverwood ever since I picked up a brochure for it from a hotel. Never knew how beautiful it actually was.
ebl Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 If you look carefully, you can see that this building has a face. Nice Photo TR, BTW. Eric

haiderodes Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 That crazy ferris wheel is a Chance Sky Diver. Don't see many of those these days...especially outside of a carnival setting.
Hilltopper39 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Silverwood to me is one of the most elusive park in the country, Im dying to go there but its location is such that I probably never will. It not really close to anything, and getting there would almost take a dedicated trip, oh well those wooden coasters look amazing.
WFChris Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 I'm at the lake area....I'll actually be in Big Sky tomorrow for some disc golf if the weather clears up! I think we represent the area with the largest void of coasters in the continental US

Tell me about it, from Boise it's about 8 hour drive and that's in the same state. Really, the only decent sized city near Silverwood is Spokane, WA. Luckily, I have family in McCall, but I'm still looking at a 6 hour drive this Sunday afternoon.
