Yamez
What do you consider organized? Theme, type of rides, etc? The park is what you make it, and I don't know if I'd consider any one park "organized" when it comes to layout
djbrcace1234
^ Â Exactally what I meant. Â As long as Peeps can technically find everything without getting lost, any layout is good. You really just need to do is fill the insides of the parks before expanding outside. That's the only major issue I see here. Some parking lots, backstage areas, side businesses on streets, etc. Will do wonders to the overall appeal.
braztaz
What do you consider organized? Theme, type of rides, etc? The park is what you make it, and I don't know if I'd consider any one park "organized" when it comes to layout  Just the rides in general, they're all over the place.  Yeah, how spots are bare and just with some rides crammed and others spaced it it just doesn't look right in my eyes. Plus, I've lost a lot of the inspiration I had. I hate sounding like I'm begging for people to post; when you got people who see stuff and not like it enough to not voice their opinion, you got a serious problem. I want people to want to read my updates, like djbrace's park. I think I'll take a month off from updating, and create a new park. I won't share it until I think it's right.  Does that sound good to you guys?
djbrcace1234
I want people to want to read my updates, like djbrace's park. Â Funny thing is Advertising my stuff over at NE is getting very little feedback, unlike here. Â I think I'll take a month off from updating, and create a new park. I won't share it until I think it's right. Â If you're going to start something like that, of course remember to keep room for future expansion. Â Also, if you're looking to improve your quality, try a small park first, then expand on it. That's exactally what I did to see how much potential my park had I have then since incorporated the ideas in that park over to the one I'm building now. Â Good look with your endevaor, however. I'll be watching to see something new from you then.

triggernel
Well, I was just kind of lurking and watching. I agree with you about a little disorganization, but most RCT parks are like that anyways. If you haven't already quit, I would just take some time off of coasters to just beautify (word?) the park. Â Sorry to here about the end. I thought you really improved. Â Looking forward to your next project!
braztaz
They saw your work and died of heart attacks. Every LAST SINGLE ONE OF THEM DJBR Â So you never comment on my thread, and when you do you decide to blatantly and irrelevantly compliment someone else's work while ignoring the original poster? Thanks, dude. Sure he has great work but that was uncalled for. Â @triggernel: Thanks. Yeah, I'm taking a break from RCT2 to get focused on school and such, but I'll still be around to comment on everyone's parks!
dmaxsba2408
Relax buddy, I don't think Dotrobot was trying to be mean. I think it was supposed to light hearted. Â As for your park I really think you need to just take a break from the park and do some small landscaping in the park from time to time. Then when something pops into you head jump back in and give it a shot. As for people not commenting on you park as much at other peoples work. Don't ever let that stop you from posting "YOUR" work. Also remember sometimes less in more in the world of RCT. You have a tendency to really show lots of pictures where only a few are really needed. Try to cut back a little bit and make your updates smaller and keep a few things to yourself about the park. You can show bits and pieces of these "PRIVATE" items in your other pictures but don't showcase them. When and if someone mentions an item you never talked about then showcase it or just say "it's a secret and you'll just have to wait to see more about it later or when the park is released". Dotrobot
Brataz. I don't mean to be a dick here. But don't be a comment whore. At the end of the day your opinion should be the one that matters most.. It's playing how good YOU want to be at the game. I've been spending more time over on NE more then TPR. And now I rarely get on then NE.. Most of my building styles i adapted from NE. I just don't comment on a lot now Brataz. You know I think the park is good. But you shouldn't need me to say that to have the insipiration to keep building. Â But if you really take comments that seriously. I'll start off with a few comments. Right now i believe that path isn't the best thing ever. Especially when zoomed in close and zoomed out moderately. But that's just me. The area around the lake. Anybody could fall in to that lake. It'd look like it rained once it'd overflow. To stop that feeling you don't need to raise the land but just add a number of low shrubs and trees. I know you don't wanna be blocking the view of the lake. So add a few heightened observation decks. Right now your buildings are kind of blocks with very little shape and very random colors. Try to have themes. A theme to follow on is always nice and makes it easier on what to build next. There seems to be a large number of roller coasters. Like Dmaxsba said less is more sometimes. If you want a realisic feel. Your park looks kind of jumbled up. I don't have a clear idea on where the entrance is. Add fences all the way around your fences as protective coverings for the coasters. There seems to be very little to no landcaping. Have some terrain coasters brataz because it appears very flat. And you seem to have a number of glitching trees piled up. I think it'd look much better if you fixed it. Â And all the time I didn't comment on was because I thought you were very happy with your park. And I know the feeling when you're feeling very happy about something and don't wanna change anything about it. If somebody told me that my entrance to my new park sucked right now. I'd be very mad as since in my eyes that's what seems best to me for now.. My first park amusement point I was very happy with. But After a while I knew it sucked, Same for thrill kingdom. Every few weeks my standard for myself changes.. One of the reasons why I got better wasn't because I was building much as you were brataz. I spent way more time looking at dmaxsba. I wanted to make parks like his. Then I looked at belgianguy. I knew I wanted both their styles. And everytime I met a good parkmaker on NE i studied his park. I looked through every park they made. Downloaded them and looked at them closely see what they did for their details. The key to get better is look at amazing parks then keep in mind what you want to do in your park that's similar but your own style. Â Like Posix on NE said. it's not about "having" to play, or to meet your imaginary level of quality you must reach in order to maintain your desired reputation as a player. braztaz
Okay sorry guys. I was in a horrible mood when I posted that, on the first day of school all the food inside my body decided it wanted to be on the outside, so that's gonna put a damper on my year. Sorry if I sounded mean, I know it was a lighthearted joke, sorry, I should be the one apologizing. Â But that's why I'm letting this park go. Recently, I stopped posting as many pictures as I used to. I just got super excited about it and wanted to share everything. Now, I realize that it wasn't worth all the hastle of the huge loading times, so there's reason number 1 for ya. Â Reason number 2 is so I can better my skills, take some time to look at some great parks. There are many things wrong with Myrtle Magic and Holiday Thrills; so bad that if I fixed, it would alter the timeline horribly. Â Reason number 3 is that I've been thinking this for a while. This isn't a spur of the moment type thing. For the past month or so I've been gradually realizing it. I wanna start fresh, a new leaf. Â Reason number 4 is that, with school and me being on soccer teams, I'm only (awake) at home for about two hours. By the end of my practices/games, I'm the definition of death. Â Finally, number 5 is the fact that I've just lost interest and inspiration for these parks. Simple as that, Â So there you go. Don't feel bad for me, please. Personal decision, it wasn't affected by all the criticism I've gotten (not in a negative way). Â I'll be back to park making soon. Take care! dmaxsba2408
Well if your going to start over with new park there is really nothing wrong with that and I am looking forward to seeing what you will do next. Unless I missed it somewhere please post a download of this park so I (and anyone else) can really get inside it and look around. Just don't let this park fade into the depths of TPR's forums without some kind ending for all those who have been following it.
djbrcace1234
^ Â I agree. Â At least a download would be nice to see it in person because sometimes the overviews/ pictures never quite do the park justice.

dmaxsba2408
^ You need to remove those files and go back into the game options and put a check mark in the "Export Plugins" boxes for each park. Then upload them again. This time the files will be much larger so you may want to ZIP them. Â I went ahead and looked at each park with the ParkDat and found out what custom rides were used and the ZIP below contains them all if anyone needs them. braztaz
Thought I did that, but it was right before I uploaded it, so that may have been the case. Â But, how do you zip it? Do you need a certain program? Â And you really didn't have to do that!
10ryansmith
Nope, right click on the folder that you have it in, "send to", and it will have a zip fuction. I had issues finding it to. Hope this helps. Cant wait for the download.

dmaxsba2408
^ The ZIP works great. Â Now lets talk about your parks... after I pick on each on (please don't be mad at me for it) I will offer up some suggestions for your next park(s). Â Holiday Thrills, if I remember right this park was started before Myrtle Magic. I noticed you had yourself a serious case of the glitches with this park. How long had you been suffering through that? It is usually completely fixable, if it happens again please ask for some help. The coasters in this park for the most part were way over the top in size and all suffer from very bad speed issues. Very common for rides of that size, too fast then too slow. The parks buildings were much better in this park than the other one but still need work. I couldn't get a grasp on how the park was supposed to flow, it all seemed so just here and there with a little of this and that tossed about all over the place. There was one pretty good ride in the park and it was just called Twister Roller Coaster 1. I liked the layout of this coaster over every other coaster in the park. It was a great two part ride and that second launch into the curve was very cool. But like the rest of the coasters in the park it suffered from bad pacing. Â Myrtle Magic, I found this park to be fun to look at, while the building were much simpler than those in Holiday Trills they reminded me of something from Dr. Seuss. The small size of most of and how they were grouped together along with the use of such bright colors made me smile. Just like the other park the coaster were for the most part over the top in size with speed issues. One exception was Sharpclaw. That ride was amazing. You scaled the size of it back and it worked. Now if I can just convince you that, that is the way to go from now on your coasters will all be great. Of the two parks this park also had a nice flow to it that the other did not. Â Alright young man, here's the deal. You have the skills to make a good park... NO I take that back you can make a GREAT park! These are only suggestions but I do hope you consider them. What I would like to see you do is scale back your next park to about half the size of these parks. Limit yourself to coaster that stay 150 feet and lower in size. Work on the pacing of them so they hit the inversion at a good speed and maintain a decent speed all the way to end. I would like to focus on one ride at a time and really theme it out like each one is a mini park all to itself. Stay away from hacks for the time being and just focus on building good quality rides. Take some time and really pick out some nice basic custom scenery items and try using them in different ways all over the park. Finish off each are with some food and shops to go along with whatever big ride is near by. Â Anyway, I am glad you put yourself out there by making these parks available for download, it was nice to see what was really going on in the parks vs just pictures. braztaz
Thanks so much dmaxsba! Â Holiday Thrills: I know to go to 8cars 1.21 to fix the glitches, I just didn't notice it until after I posted the zip! And the buildings and Twister Roller Coaster 1 (Fireclap, never got to naming it in the game) were the last things that I'd done in the park. So I'm glad you liked them the best. And the organization "flow" issue was one of the reasons I decided to let these parks go. Would have been too hectic to basically reset the entire park, so why not just start anew? Â Myrtle Magic: Ah yes, the colorful cheery atmosphere was what I was going for. Glad you liked it. And thanks about the Sharpclaw compliment, I've always loved that ride. I'll try my best. Â I guess I got too carried away with making rides that have never been done before, (Like SwiftSonic in Holiday Thrills, or Hornet at Myrtle Magic) that I lost hold of the realism aspect. And my next park, I'll make peep friendly. My previous parks haven't been; I'll think of it like like this; if the guests are happy, TPR'll be happy. Â Thanks again, I enjoyed the compliments/criticism
dmaxsba2408
I'll think of it like like this; if the guests are happy, TPR'll be happy. Â ^ that is a great way to think about building coasters in RCT and for the most part it is a correct statement. However the guests in RCT really don' t care what a roller coaster looks like and the real guests (people here at TPR) do. So not only do you have to build a ride the RCT guests will enjoy you have to build one real people will enjoy seeing. Random example, 5 corkscrews in a row is something the RCT guests would love but most people would look at it like you were crazy. Â Glad you saw the positive side to my thoughts on your parks, was worried you would be mad at me.
braztaz
How could I get mad at you with all the help you've given me? Nothing wrong with some criticism!
