dmaxsba2408
Completely understandable, it's nice to get away from something that is causing issues and just "BUILD".
braztaz
Also, since I don't have my disc, it's given me a lot of time to think about future expansions and tutorials for hacking. I have an idea for a coaster that's never been done before. And it would be a big step for me. So stay tuned.

djbrcace1234
It looks nice! Â The only thing that bugs me is it looks like the islands are man made, as in they are boxy, and just messy. Maybe make the coast look more realistic by either elevating the land you alreay have 5 feet, or loewring your water by 5 feet. If it were to flood, this would be a mess just like Six Flags New Orlens.

dmaxsba2408
, While reading and looking at all the pictures, I was wondering if anyone would say anything about the land being at water level. I like the levy system your installing around the area, was very concerned with all this (cough, cough) global warming (cough, BS) going on in the world your park might have gotten washed away if the water lever raised up an inch. Now you better make sure you have a good pumping system to keep the park from flooding when it rains.
CoasterCreator9
(cough, cough) global warming (cough, BS) Â Totally agree. Â Looks pretty nice. That first drop on Surf's Summit is reminicent of X2, but the one thing I don't like about S'sS is the corkscrews are nowhere near interlocking. Look at the ingame layout of Medusa and you'll see how it should look. Â Unless of course, these are a special design. Looks nice!
braztaz
^Ah, yes, something urks me about the "interlocking" corkscrews as well. I thought that since the second one is under banked turn into the first one, it would count as interlocking, but who knows. Thanks for the compliments and feedback SCR721.BMP Semi-interlocking? Maybe? A Little?  dmaxsba: I'm only going to be fixing the land in developed areas, sorry but it takes awhile and I'm not trying to go unrealistic, I'm just lazy  --  MYRTLE MAGIC:  Hmm, I've been seeing quite a few advertisements in my last few visits to the park, (banners hanging around, etc)...and I have absolutely no idea what it means!  "NEXT SUMMER AT MYRTLE MAGIC....out of control never felt so out of control" "NEXT SUMMER AT MYRTLE MAGIC...are you ready?"  Strange, I wonder what this could be? braztaz
PRESS RELEASE: MYRTLE MAGICÂ Coaster enthusiast rejoice today as Myrtle Magic announces their newest addition..."Fang". Standing at a whopping 200 feet tall, this wooden double-out-and-back coaster jammed-packed with twisties, airtimes, and out of control feeling is the tallest woodie in operation! That's right...out of control never felt so out of control. Next season at Myrtle Magic! Â The park's Flying Coaster will be down for the remainder of this season for mechanical problems. We're sure it will be open next season along with Fang, so be patient! Â SCR738.BMP Two trains- blue and yellow. Ascend the 200ft lift hill. Can YOU conquer the almighty Fang? SCR732.BMP Drop 195ft while screaming your lungs out. SCR733.BMP Combined twisties and airtime- what more could you ask for? SCR734.BMP Huge, classic woodie airtime as you speed through another turnaround. SCR735.BMP Twist around again.... SCR736.BMP Drop into the massive wooden structure and pull out once more. SCR737.BMP Into the first brake run... SCR738.BMP Four more pops of airtime... SCR739.BMP And your back home! SCR741.BMP Be sure to pick up your "Fang" souvenirs. SCR742.BMP Updated park overview. braztaz
Thanks, guys, Â Yeah, rough...but that's for the GP to find out on their own!
braztaz
MYRTLE MAGIC: First off, let me start by saying "Fang" was a hit! Sure, it's a little rough at parts, but guests don't seem to mind it. But there's only one problem; Fang completely overshadows Sharpclaw, one of the first woodies at the park. By summer, the attendance for Sharpclaw had decreased drastically. Â Patriots Plunge, the racer, still has sizable attendance, due to the fact it's unique from Fang. Â HOLIDAY THRILLS: The new ride this year were two waterslides (One 95ft, on 45ft) in which you drop 60 degrees down. Speedy, quick, and simple...also, a hit! Â TOPSAIL ISLAND: During the season, Topsail started expanding (expansions not open to public). SCR743.BMP Paths expanded behind Waveswinger. SCR745.BMP "Rickety Ranger", a splash boat ride. As you travel up the hill, sound effects and visuals show that it seems the ride is falling apart. SCR746.BMP Walk over the bridge to another part of the island, SCR747.BMP Here we have two structures over 300ft, the "Topsail Island Aquarium", restaurants, and a boardwalk. SCR749.BMP The Topsail Aquarium will hold many exhibits, and shows. See your favorite sea creatures in your favorite park; come next season so you can "See the Sea"! SCR750.BMP Check out the "See the Sea Restaurant", with your favorite sea food dishes like crablegs, shrimp, and fish. When your done- take a walk on the boardwalk! SCR752.BMP Overview of the expansion. You can see the 305ft observation tower "See the Sail", and the 305ft Intamin Drop Tower "Feel the Force". djbrcace1234
So far this park has the best atmosphere of all the parks you have made,I do believe. Keep planning these parks out as they are showing more improvement. Â Try and cover up the exit for the Rickety Ranger as it sticks out like a sore thumb. The black just makes that exit pop out in that last screen. Â Good start on the 3rd installment in the company, though.
braztaz
^Thanks! Â And ah, yes, your right! I'll go and fix that. Â Also, I jusr got my Triple Thrill Pack- I downloaded it off of the Gamestop digital store for 20 dollars, I don't need a CD. I got it about a month ago and it didn't work because the installation program wasn't compatible with Vista, but then I realized I didn't have the UAC disabled, so when I did it the installer worked! I'm wondering if I should redo my parks, or at least Topsail Island, so I can have all those yummy TT+WW rides. What do you guys think?
SoCalCoasters
I would just add new rides from TT and WW as they are great expansion packs.
braztaz
HOLIDAY THRILLS: Â "Thunder Lap" seems to be getting an electric new makeover! Crews were hard at work during the off season, improving Thunder Lap as the "new" attraction this season at Holiday Thrills. Â Thunder Lap's old turnaround seemed like nothing compared to the more modern B&M Hypercoasters, so HTEC decided to revamp it a little bit SCR5.BMP The new turnaround is a big improvement. As you can see, it does still include to original turnaround, but also adds a few more twists- airtime, and headchoppers. SCR6.BMP The old turnaround. SCR7.BMP And here is an old photo I dug up of Holiday Thrill's skyline a few years ago. SCR8.BMP And now is the current one. Which one do you like better? Old or new? CoasterCreator9
Looks pretty cool! Â (By the way, check the VirtuTPR thread, I had a few questions, and so did Folf. About companies and records.)
braztaz
It's Vertical Hour at Topsail Island! Â Ever glanced at the clock, seen that it was Vertical Hour (11:11 or 1:11) and looked up into the sky, whispering your wish? Â Well roller coaster enthusiasts, this is your wish come true! The new B&M Standup Coaster smashes into Topsail Island next season on opening day; at 11:11AM. First rides will be auctioned of at a later time. It might just be the luckiest roller coaster ride in your life. Â The supports were added into the scenery that heighten the ride's experience- as you will see, there seems to be a section of gray block across the land under the ride. It is actually covering the water, while it further supports the supports, it also gives the mechanics and workers to navigate more easily...because who wants to swim in work clothes? SCR14.BMP "Vertical Hour" lands next to the now famous Topsail Aquarium. SCR15.BMP Queue area, station, souvenir building. SCR16.BMP After you climb up 135ft, prepare to turn a majestic swirl- then drop, that's right...111 ft down to the ground! SCR17.BMP After your lucky plunge, you swirl through bunches of clockworks, pendulums, and headchoppers. This ride really is magical at night...it gives off a spectacular light show. SCR18.BMP Clustered, eh? SCR20.BMP Twist over the water into a brake run, then speed through powerful helixes- still overlooked by the almighty clockworks! SCR22.BMP As you travel through the wood supports, it gives you the sense that your inside a clock. SCR23.BMP Then into a final corkscrew, overbanked turn...your 2 minute journey is over! djbrcace1234
interesting idea have to say. My favorite part has to be the first drop with the 270 turn. Reminds me of Great Bear at Hershey Park.
