B-RadG
I've checked Expedia, TripAdvisor, and Hotels.com and I cannot find any hotels near Great Adventure. The closest that it's giving me is 30 minutes away and I was wondering if any of y'all have stayed anywhere that's within 15-20 minutes of the park and not totally sleazy. Thanks! Solid Gold
Common Problem. I had it last year on a trip to this park. Worse, I was told by several hotels on the phone(and it may in fact be law) that I couldn't check-in as a 19 year old. Our trip ended up staying northeast of Philadelphia. I found that the closest hotels that A. Had a website and B. Had Tripadvisor reviews were all in Bordentown, NJ. There are plenty of choices just west of that, but no standard options (big chains) east. There may be a B&B you could look at. Personally, I don't know why Great Adventure hasn't forayed into their own hotel yet. It could be the only one adjacent to the park.
RCFreak
I stayed at the Radisson in Freehold, NJ two years ago and it was a really nice hotel (at the time, it was newly remodeled with sleep number beds and flat screen TVs in the rooms) and if I recall correctly, it only took us about 20 minutes to get to the park, not sure of now, but it wasn't too expensive either. _Brandon_
I stayed at a Holiday Inn a few miles away, but that was only for one night.
YoshiFan
Personally, I don't know why Great Adventure hasn't forayed into their own hotel yet. It could be the only one adjacent to the park. There were plans to build one, RedZone canceled it
scooterdoug
I stayed in the Days Inn at Freehold, NJ last year. It was reasonably priced, and within 15-20 minutes of SFGAdv.
Brad
Check out this link for the official SFGAdv partner hotels: http://hotels.sixflags.com/1738_welcome.html. When I went in 2007, we stayed at the Marriott downtown Trenton. The hotel was nice, but I wouldn't walk around that area (they have an attached parking deck). It took us about 20 minutes to get to the park each day.
SubwayFreak
When my friend went to Great Adventure, he stayed at the Holiday Inn East Windsor, New Jersey (which is where I'm going to stay when I go.) According to Great Adventure's website, it's only 20 minutes away from the park. Here's a link to the hotel's Trip Advisor page, which has really good reviews! http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g46405-d98323-Reviews-Holiday_Inn_East_Windsor-East_Windsor_New_Jersey.html
