drop zone

I have never been on drop zone, but I have been on acrophobia, and I thought the drop on Acrophobia was intense. It is the only ride that can scare me. I was wondering if the drop on drop zone was a lot more intense than acrophobia, being a 200 something foot drop while Acrophobia has a 161 foot brop. You know that butterfly feeling you get while dropping, do you feel even more on drop zone?

The drop is I believe 272 ft and its very intense. Its a very intimidating tower!

Acrophobia, IMO, is the freakiest drop ride I have been on. If you can do that, you can do Drop Zone.

Come downunder where we got REAL Drop Towers (well one) and Crocodiles and Koalas and other real scary stuff!

Only be prepared to wait five hours for it, not because its popular, because the capacity is like 100pph.

Which Drop Zone are you talking about? If it's the Carowind's one that's one of the smaller models of the Intamin Giant drop. Not as big as the PGA or the PKD version.

 

Still a GREAT ride and nothing compared to Acrophobia. Although it IS a completely different feeling.
