Knott's screamin swing

How much does the screamin swing cost at knott's? ive been told its free. if it isnt free, is it worth the money? im going on tomorrow

It is not free, it is a $5 upcharge, and they're fun rides, maybe not entirely worth $5 for how short the ride cycle is, but only you can decide if it's worth it. Personally, if it comes between a Soda or Screamin' Swing, I would go for the soda lol.

^It is $5, but if you go early or on a low crowd day they may have a 2 for 1 special (usually first two hours in my experience). If you have never been on an S&S Screamin' Swing, it is worth $5 to ride it once. Unfortunately, when I rode it I had already been on Skyhawk at Cedar Point and found it a pretty boring ride by comparison, so don't bother if you've been on a different S&S Screamin' Swing.

The rode the Screamin' Swing for the first and only time in 2005. I found it very boring, much too short and not worth the money which is why I have not rode it again since. At $5 there are plenty of upcharge rides (like at SFMM) which are much more expensive so it will not be so terrible to pay to try it and see what you think. To be honest I doubt that you will ever want to ride it again after that first try.

What is it with the US upcharging for a Screaming Swing, Rush at TP is inclusive of the entry fee and runs a pretty decent cycle, its a great ride, made it into my top 5 flat rides list!

^The one at Knotts is small and only holds eight people total. If it wasn't an upcharge it would have a ridiculously long line with such a low capacity. Other Cedar Fair parks have versions that are Rush's size and they are included with your admission.
