WillMontu Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 This is the first time I've attempted to post a PTR since the software upgrade, so bear with me if attachments are missing or mislabeled. I finally got a car of my own, which means that I can start visiting the local parks more often. While a bicycle is great for many things, it proves to be impractical for visiting anything further than the Alachua County Fair. Last weekend I drove down to Orlando with Erik to hit a few parks, notably giving the Dragons a final ride before they undergo the transformation into Dragon Challenge. If you have ridden CyberSpace Mountain at DisneyQuest, this is a very similar concept. Unlike CSM, however, which uses a simple pitch and roll simulator, Sum of All Thrills uses a robotic arm to simulate motion. For a look at the Design Station, I have posted a video [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=SumOfAllThrillsDesign_qcpp[/coastertube] Mini-Rocket.nltrack Flying Penguin.nltrack
Erik Johnson Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Is this the first extensive review of Sum of all Thrills? It might be.

PriestofSyrinx Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 PUBLIX!!!!!! Where shopping IS a pleasure! Anyhoo, Great TR! Those HRR pics made me laugh especially the one in the station qwith the little girl looking really excited, and the parents trying to figure out the Music system!
KrakenKing Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Man, just got back from vacation in Atlanta, read this TR, saw a photo of Publix and realized that I have work tomorrow (I work at Publix). But anyway, looks like you had an awesome time! Nice pictures of HRRR and Hogwarts! I haven't seen pictures of Harry Potter World in a while, looks like a lot of progress has been made.
Erik Johnson Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Will - Awesome photoshop job on the HRRR storage area sign. Ok, that was pretty cool.
YoshiFan Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 By this time of night, Imagination had closed. The Cast Member in the area told us not to cry about it. If they had Dreamfinder and the Upstairs Imageworks, we probably would have I miss the Upstairs Imageworks a lot, especially the rainbow tunnel and those paintbrushes that projected colors onto figures up on the walls/ceiling. It was so much better than the current Imageworks especially the way it is now. I was there in January and those picture taking machines where you can edit your pictures were basically non functional. 1 was shut off completely, 4 or 5 kept freezing up.
stingrock23 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I always love a good Orlando report. It's been a year and a half since I've been there, I'm starting to really feel the itch to go back.
