I usually don't post my work outside of the games forum because they're usually all Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, but this one is different.

Beyond Pixelation is about two "peeps" that cross through the computer screen into the real world. It was made with alot of greenscreening and two cooperative peeps.

It's nowhere near perfect, it's more a starting point for more films like this in the future.

Watch and tell me what you think! A digital short entitled "John Stevenson's Backyard Amusement Park" preceds Beyond Pixelation. Bonus points to whoever know what it's inspired by!

The plot was great, but in trying to give some constructive criticism, the green screen wasn't all that great. I understand that it's your first though, and I could not have done what you did there anyway.

A bit rough in spots, but an excellent excecution of a great idea.

It did give me a good idea for your next "peep show" though: Instead of having the peeps go to the 3rd dimension, you should keep it in-game and have the peeps battle against the Computer operator (You) as he starts changing the park and removing the rides they love.

Just a thought. Keep the great work coming.

That was really good!!! I liked the part with the face looking down from the sky.

The only critique I have is that the text was a bit too small to read at times. The chroma key effects looked really good I think.

Very original. I sure hope you have more videos like this planned for the future. If so I look forward to watching them.

Interesting concept you had there. I agree with what one poster said, though, about the captions being difficult to read at times. Maybe it was the font, or the size, or a combination of both, but I definitely had some trouble reading them. Also, what song did you use in the very beginning?
