89great Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Front of Line Pass, Universal Studios Hollywood. Hello, these questions are for those who already bought this pass or know how it works... 1-Behind-the-scenes access at WaterWorld, T2:3D, and Universal's Animal Actors: What is Behind-the-scenes access? Somebody have some details? 2-Priority access to ALL rides: Can we choose any seat or... like in Revenge of the Mommy, can we seat in front row? 3-How many time we have to wait in queue line with the pass?... If somebody can respond to these questions, thank you very much!
Bolliger&Mabillard Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Behind the Scenes=Priority seating Gate A access=Seperate gete with providing immediate access to ride. ask operator where you wish to sit.
89great Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 Ok thanks. So Behind the Scenes is only a reserved seating? Oh! And Can we ride the same ride many times?
SharkTums Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 I remember at Water World they told us to stay seated after the show and the actors did a more intimate meet and greet.
shepp Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 ^ Wow, definitely worth extra bucks to meet some guy who rides a jetski.
Jew Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 To answer your questions correctly (since there was some bad information in this thread)... 1. Elissa is correct about the Behind the Scenes stuff. You get to stay in your seat until everyone else has left, then a cast member from the show comes out and does a meet and greet/Q&A session. It's definitely not the most in-depth "behind the scenes tour," but it's great if you have kids with you or tourists who know absolutely nothing about stunts. They'll tell you some very basic "how it is done" stuff, and provide you with some unique photo opportunities. 2. The Front of the Line pass does not guarantee you whatever seat you want on a ride. However, you shouldn't have a problem simply asking a ride operator for whichever row you want. 3. There is a separate entrance at every attraction that will take you right to the front of the line (hence the name of the pass), where you will only have to wait a few minutes (if that---the lines are only for Gate A passholders, so the only wait is if another group happens to be in front of you). You can use the pass as many times as you want, but you cannot stay seated. Just have to exit and come right back around.
robbalvey Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 ^ Wow, definitely worth extra bucks to meet some guy who rides a jetski. It actually was quite interesting. We talked to two of the stunt men, they talked about how they did some of the stunts and brought out some of the props used in the show. For the Animal show they did a little meet & greet and photo op with a couple of the animals. I thought that it was a really nice bonus perk for someone getting the Gate A passes, and for people who know nothing about the amusement industry, it would have been an even better value. --Robb
