Second year doing Haunt as the bouncer in Club Blood. I must say... going from a mask(last year) to full make-up, it was a complete change. I really enjoyed and got a lot more scares this year.SEE EVERYONE IN 2010!!

Wow, those get ups look amazing. Having done Haunts for the first time this year I was totally impressed.

KD looks like it has a good Haunt, with I305 as an extra incentive I may have to head to Virginia some time in October.

I could've sworn some vampire called out my name when I went through Club Blood, but ducked back into his hidey-hole (only caught a glimpse of him). Was that you?

Just curious....I know Knott's has been doing Haunt since the 70s...is that something that's spilled over onto other CF parks since they bought our park?

^Kings Dominion has had some form of a "Haunt" for a number of years. When Paramount owned the park, it was called "Fearfest."

But not 70 years, right?

I mean, we're TOTALLY lying about being "America's First Theme Park", but we DO have the longest-continually-running Halloween Haunt event, right?

Right?

^ I don't know about themeparks, but there are halloween houses that have been around for longer, but they are only seasonal atttractions. There are a couple around Cincinnati that have been doing it for almost 50 years, although they're not on the scale of a Haunt at Knotts...

Wow, I can't believe you got pics in the maze, let alone posted them. Kings Island is VERY strict on things like this, just saying.

Club Blood originals at KI!

I meant SINCE the 70s...ROFL....WOW, surprised you were the first to catch my typo....LOL.

Yeah....this year was the 37th Annual Halloween Haunt...YAY for ACTUALLY BEING RIGHT!!!!!

And technically, Disneyland was the first theme park (well, at least, the first that I'M aware of). A park where all the areas/rides/workers worked as part of a specific storyline.

People claim that because Knott opened "Ghost Town" that it was a theme park, but collaborative theming wasn't introduced until (again, at my first recollection) 1983, when the Peanuts Gang joined the Knott's family....

But again, ANY corrections would be welcomed!! ^_^
