CoasterFanatic Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Catrina's Grandma was celebrating her 85th birthday, so her family decided to throw her a suprise party at her Uncle's Farm. So the story begins ... No rodents were injured in the making of this Random Photo TR! The festivities were starting to die down, so Catrina's cousin and his friends demonstrated their bow skills. Everybody posed for pictures with Grandma. Here I am shaking it off. I look so happy. Don't I? Catrina's cousin thought it would be funny to douse me with ice cold water. No, Chad was not adopted. He is a friend of the family. Everybody lines up for some grub. Time to blow out the candles. At 85, I think this woman could still kick my ass. The cake Basically everything you can see in this picture makes up about 15% of her Uncle's farm. Take that you city boy. Catrina's Uncle had to build a new barn at his farm this summer after the previous one burned down. Not too shabby. Welcome to Maple Valley Farms
Sir Clinksalot Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 That's awesome. Some fun on the old family farm. And yeah, every family should have at least one adopted "brother". My best friend growing up was black and he was pretty much adopted. He still calls my Mom "Mom" to this day.
FlyingScooter Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 As always, good job, Ted. That barn looks good to me.
PhishyBrewer Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 West Virginia doesn't look like it has changed at all. I lived in Morgantown for awhile. Until I found out the girl I was living with was stripping on the side and shooting up heroine. MOM! Can't I move back home?! :o
Hattuchili Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 Great random photo TR, Ted. It looks like you had a good day with your family. I like big family meetings, there are some people you only see a few times a year. --Sören
thunder001 Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 Nice TR, but I could never understand why people shot archery using a trigger release. I shot for 15yrs and allways used a finger tab to release the string. Still miss the sport now but it is just to costly to get back into, I guess Rubgy League will have to do.
disneygurlz2s Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Great photos, Ted.... and yeah, she looks like she could kick your ass Shari
