dandaman
Was just gonna post this. Air France Flight 358 crashed in Toronto, around 4:00 p.m. It was carrying around 200 passengers, accordng to CNN. It narrowly missed the 401, Canada's busiest highway (which actually extends just south of my house...). http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8801092/ http://mq-mapgend.websys.aol.com:80...%2400 62%3a%26 (The red star is where I live, I'm pretty far away. Should give you an idea of how large the 401 is... it goes from Windsor to Montreal.)

Canadmos
It sounds/looks like the pilots landed fine and then for whatever reason (broken nose wheel, high winds..etc) they slid off the runway. I'm not sure what exactly the weather was like at the airport (as I am about 30 minutes away) but from what I saw on weather reports and the weather warnings posted by Environment Canada, I don't think it was a smart decision for the traffic controllers or the pilots to land in that weather. But whatever the reason of the crash is, I am sure will be found within the near future. I'm glad no one was seriously injured.
dandaman
^ Eyewitnesses stated that it was black skies and severe storms at the time, and around 5 minutes after the crash, it completely vanished. (The storm, not the plane. )
Canadmos
lol, that weather sounds like what my town had yesterday. The thunder was so loud it set off my moms car alarm
dandaman
^Uhh... I think that is what your town had yesterday... Also, a few weeks ago, the same thing happened to all the cars on our street when the thunder hit. Not to mention that the power went out at that last bolt, and the only thing breaking the silence was the alarms. Canadmos
Newmarket. If I get good traffic and speed the entire way I can get to pcw in about 15 minutes. Its a shame the park isn't better though, if it was I would actually have a reason to go.

Skyrider is one of the best rides in the park! If you are looking for a big plot of land get them to tear out Dragon Fire and that dumb, expensive go kart track, lol. dandaman
^ I guess my opinion's based on the fact that I haven't been there in 5 years... when I couldn't ride most of the coasters anyways. Which one's Dragon Fyre again?
