Bob! Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Hello everybody! I started a new theme park on RCT2 two weeks ago, called The Sunset Gardens. Well, I think you guessed, I very like theme park with woods, water, flowers etc, and I tried to recreate this. So, my new park looks a bit like my Fantasia Gardens theme park, with more landscaping. Please, leave comments if you like it. Anyway I'll try to do more updates later... SCR10.BMP Oho...but, what's this? SCR7.BMP This is Raddlack's Falls, a Mack custom wild-mouse, a bit inspired by the one at Europa Park. SCR6.BMP This is the GCI woodie, called Renegade. I hope you like the layout SCR2.BMP This is the entrance plaza. Looks a bit like Fantasia Gardens...
dmaxsba2408 Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Your park has a really rustic appeal to it for me so far. NICE! Renegade looks like one fast fun ride you even managed to get the water splash in there and it really fits in well. Your mouse is my favorite so far. Raddlack's Falls looks to be one of the best mouse rides I've seen in a long time.
Coaster Cow Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Looking good! Renegade actually has a layout that GCII might build, unlike others where people just throw down some curves.
Bob! Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 Well, thank you everyboy for yours goods comments! I'm actually working on one big part of the Sunset Gardens, working on the landscaping and on the rides. I'll update this topic when I'll finish some parts of my park. I guess you like my woodie and my wild-mouse, and I'm very happy to know that! SCR5.BMP This is a little restaurant, near Renegade.
Bob! Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 New update. I built a new kind of B&M's coaster, which is a launched floorless coaster. It's a very short but an incredible experience. The name of this new coaster is Jackalopp. Here are some pictures of this ride. Please leave comments if you wanna say me something about my park... SCR3.BMP And this is a little extra somethin', but not completed at all: a restaurant near Jackalopp... SCR5.BMP Floorless..! SCR4.BMP Here's the layout. SCR2.BMP The ride entrance area, included a photo store, restrooms and an information kiosk. SCR6.BMP This is the station building.
Fat-G Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 very good jackalopp kinda reminds me of powder keg at silver doller city in a way. good job.
fisher1095 Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 I like "Jackalopp" and this entire park. However, just one complaint. If you go back and look at the launched floorless layout, you'll notice that near the launch track, you are using the same tree in a "blocky" repetition. Maybe you could use some different foliage there? I know this is REALLY picky, but at least thats the only thing I can see wrong with the park! Great job!
Bob! Posted July 28, 2009 Author Posted July 28, 2009 If you go back and look at the launched floorless layout, you'll notice that near the launch track, you are using the same tree in a "blocky" repetition. Maybe you could use some different foliage there? You're right. It's not a good idea to put the same tree near this launch station. I'll change that very soon. Thank you! This is a trailer for the next coaster of the Sunset Gardens. Any ideas? screenEF.bmp ???
dmaxsba2408 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 That drop out of the build looks fun. Just wondering on Jackalopp, where dose the vertical drop disappear to? Was trying to follow the coasters course but lose it after that drop. If you are wanting to keep it a secret for when the park is released that is totally understandable. The park still looks great.
Bob! Posted July 29, 2009 Author Posted July 29, 2009 where dose the vertical drop disappear to? After this drop, the train dive under the ground. Then it goes up, do a last turn and join the final brakes. An yes, this is an EuroFighter. This new coaster will be probably the last big coaster of The Sunset Gardens. Waiting for some good new rides soon...
Bob! Posted July 31, 2009 Author Posted July 31, 2009 --NEW UPDATE-- This is some pictures of The Sunset Gardens' new coaster. It's a Gerstlauer's Eurofighter called Thunder Blast. However the whole area around the coaster isn't finished at all. I'll post some new screens later when this area will be OK. SCR12.BMP An heartline roll before the mide brakes. After the brakes, there is a corkscrew and finally there are some turns before the final brakes. SCR10.BMP The coaster is testing... SCR8.BMP Here's the layout. The vertical lift and the drop are in this strange tower.
Thelegendarymatthew Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 My only complains would be that your overusing trees in some areas, and that the white roofs don't look to good in some areas. Other than that it looks good. I like the Eurofighter, it has that feel to it. Its like you combined Saw and Mystery Mine together! Anyways, keep up the good work. I hope to see an area for the kiddies too
