expeditioneverestfan Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I have been wondering this for a long time and really want to know. Sorry if you consider this spam but I cant find the answer anywhere. What was at Animal Kingdom before Expedition Everest opened. What was in that big vast area. The coasters not too new or too old, so something must have been in that area before EE was announced. Just wondering if any one knows what was there. Someone on a Youtube comment said there was a Boomerang but I don't trust that. Does anyone know?

Erik Johnson Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Take a look at this: http://www.themeparkreview.com/wedding/ak/ak1.htm
stricklandCC Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 ^ Correct. My only visit to Animal Kingdom was on a cast preview day, before the park ever opened to the public.(don't even know how long ago...)Asia was just a plot of dirt. It didn't even seem like construction on the land had started. There was the funny Wildlife Express train that took you back to Rafiki's area, and you could tell that the Rapids was under construction, but that was it.
paintballer Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Someone on a Youtube comment said there was a Boomerang but I don't trust that. Does anyone know? What an Idiot!! WDW having a Boomerang..HA
Carnage Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Your first mistake was actually reading the Youtube comments. Youtube comments are the cesspool of the internet.
