cfc Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 ^^I look at Holiday World's theming this way--it's like somebody decided, "Hey--let's build our own amusement park on granpa's farm!" That being said, the park has a very nice setting and seems well kept up. Fourth of July is the weakest of the themed areas (I think Halloween comes off the best).
rollin_n_coastin Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Chuck, great pictures and captions (as always)! Love the Son of Beast reaction! Is Holiday World a 1 to 2 day park? Thanks for the TR! -Jason
grinch1313 Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Great captions and photos, Chuck! I really want to get back to Holiday World soon. Pilgrim's Plunge looks great and I want to ride The Voyage again.
Erik Johnson Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Yet you rode it with us on Saturday. I'm touched. And you're "tetched." Erik said that last Saturday was his last ride ever on SoB. That is probably true. Unless someone gives me money.
Emiroo Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Is Holiday World a 1 to 2 day park? Typically, it's a 1 day park if you do both the waterpark and the themepark. Otherwise, the rides side can be done in about 4-6 hours (with low-moderate crowds). But if you skip the waterpark, you're really missing out. It's just as good/thrilling as the themepark. However, during peak season (July-August) all bets are off. Crowds can get huge (especially on weekends) and you could need 2 days to do everything on both sides.
