GabrielOak Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 He's writing a book too which should be a good read, he has seen and achieved so much and is the the only Disney cast member who has participated in all eleven of Disney's major park openings. mcjaco Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Definitely can't wait for the book. It'll be interesting to see who the next big names are in Imagineering.
disneygurlz2s Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Ok.. seriously, that gave me goosebumps. What a wonderful career to have, and how touching it is to know that, unlike many corporate big-wigs, this man has never lost touch or where he came from and truly has an appreciation for what he was able to do in his career. Thanks for sharing! Shari
ericmichaellucas Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Disney have lost another legend Let's hope his successor is still in touch with his "magic" side
doom1001 Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 It was awesome seeing and hearing him talk at EPCOT's 25th anniversary.
monsterfan99 Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 A true industry legend has ridden off into the sunset. He is a once in a lifetime person for the industry and will be missed.
