bhslhs Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 When the owner founded the park over 25 years ago he lived really close there and the land was very cheap at the time. Thats probably the biggest reason the park's there.

bhslhs Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 That park has so much room for more expansion. Their property goes all the way to the railroad tracks in the woods. Aftershock and Timber Terror are the farthest south point that the park owns.

As far as land to develop I believe they own a lot of land east of the highway. I think that is where they will be building the hotel.
coastercrzyjames Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Very nice aerial pics of Silverwood. It looks like such a cool park, it's one that i'd definitely like to visit sometime. I have a friend that lives in Cour'd'Alene (sp?) and I'm always telling him I need to come visit and we can go to Silverwood in the process. Heheh. Crazy to see that much snow all around in April!

voodoobones Posted April 24, 2009 Author Posted April 24, 2009 It was 75 a few days ago and now they are predicting snow for Saturday! Saturday April 25th! The temps have been a rollercoaster in the PNW! I AM SO TIRED OF SNOW!!!!!!
