Texas Adventures(New RCT2 project)(under construction)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

My parents took away my laptop, and got it back yesterday, and continued to work on a project that has taken a lot of time so far. I began the park when I realized how un six flagsish SFOD was and how much I hated no CS parks.

This park is inspired by all the awesome RCT2 builders such as TLM( the legendary mathew) DBru, BRteller, Belgian Guy, and anyone else I am forgetting, sorry. This park is inspired particularly by Belgian Guy's Thrill Point. Also, a lot of advice about adding doors and windows, different kinds of roofs, and spending more time on everything in general(I must admit though, my layouts have always been pretty good. ) I still want this to feel like one of my parks, so it is still bright, vibrant, and somewhat eye popping(you'll see what I mean)

NOW (drum roll please) The sections and rides(so far) of Texas Adventures

The woodlands

Babe the Blue Ox- A semi terrain based B&M hyper coaster inspired by parts of pretty much every B&M hyper so far. You must be 54 inches tall to ride BABE

This area will receive quite a few flats and a log flume

Spain

El Matador- A crazy Martin & Vleminckx Group coaster inspired by the Boardwalk Bullet/Fireball. The coaster is extremely twisted and riders will go though over 2 minutes of twisted track and ejector airtime- Guests must be more than 50 inches tall to ride alone, and 48 inches tall to ride with adult/guardian. More pictures will come tonight of El Matador as my first pictures of it did not work.

El Tiemple de Jade- Highly themed Huss Topspin

The Jade temple is currently one of the most amazing tourist attractions in the world. The top of the temple is made of Jade, and the temple is somehow protected, no one would ever attempt to steal anything from this beautiful temple... Until now. Discover what lies inside this temple and see if you can escape the Jade Temple, if not, there is no one to hear you scream. Guests must be 52 inches tall to ride.

Tornado Alley- small park area

A thrilling unique experience for the entire family featuring the Texas Tornado, a unique Intamin Spinner as well as a simulator and dark ride, both are currently under construction.

Here are some pics of the area

Well, it's not too bad, it's just that when you look at other people parks you notice that they start with the walls, then they add windows, balconies etc. However with your buildings you start with the roofs and build down, if you want to become as good as DBru, BRTeller, BelgianGuy etc. you need to be able to build buildings like theirs.

The rides that you build are excellent, that's a great start, now you have to be able to theme the rides really well. At the moment you have an excellent starting point, now you need to go on from there and theme the rides to perfection. Also try to use less glass scenery, it usually doesn't really fit the ride, unless it's a Arrow or abstract B&M.

Hope to see more updates soon.

I don't really see how matador is like bullet or fireball. And I agree with stoksy completely about the building technique though I cannot tell you your wrong because this is more than I could do.

Anyways, I like the names of the rides and its a creative start. Keep working with this, it has potential.

Unfortunately the spinner has been scrapped because 8 cars stopped working. However, a family PTC wooden roller coaster has been added to the woodlands. It is a family wooden Roller coaster inspired by Kennywood's Jack Rabbit, and it is called Jackrabbit.

Mini update

Yeehaw!

Matador is inspired by bullet, and is the first GG coaster to feature Timber Flyer trains.

Here's what I think. I'm going to make it pretty simple so you don't miss out anything.

Good

-Your coasters are ok (except JR, thats just well . . . . . . )

-You picked a great group of people to be inspired by

-Your names of the rides

Bad

-You don't need to put the roofs at ground level

-You don't need to fill every spot of the station/mcbr with a roof

-You don't need to have 30 different kinds of roofs

-You should really just look t the stations/buildings at NE and real life.

-Jack Rabbit is too short, and has no banks on it

-You need more trees

-You need more foliage

-You need more of a variety of the trees that you have.

Now, if you need any help with these, just PM or make an account at New Element and ask for help.

Hope you follow the advise this time around

-Matthew K.
