I'm pretty sure animals are much happier when they aren't spitting out babies until the day they die. Just my observation though.

^Wouldn't spaying or neutering an animal without that animal's consent be against the animal's rights?

 

Have you ever received consent on anything for an animal?

Yeah Larry, did the cow from the steak you ate last week give consent to the guy at the meat packing plant to slit his throught and let him bleed out until he died, and give consent to let you eat him and crap him out the next day?

^I had pasta last night, it was Ash Wednesday! I ate no meat yesterday.

 

So I guess I'm vegetarian for 7 days each year.

^^Isn't that basically what happens all the time in nature? Maybe not a literal throat slitting, but animals getting mauled and ripped apart to be eaten? How is human use of animals for food different than animal use of animals for food?

 

I'm not trying to be a smart-a$$, I'm legitimately curious how PETA or any such group illustrates the difference.
