Rct2 Installation Problem!

Hi!

 

I just got my new PC, and i wanted to install RCT2...

 

So, after lauching the instalation, an error message appears.

 

It tells me that the DATA 2 is missing...

 

Whatever i don't understand...

 

Can somebody help me...or send me this freaking data 2!!!

The Stupid error Message!

This is where it stucks...

Clean the disc, if you haven't already. It might be scratches on that part of the disc that has that data.

Your options:

A)Buy another disc.

B)"Acquire" a full disc image of RCT2 (ex. an ".iso" file), which would have the data you need.

I will not tell you where or how to get a disc image, since it is a little shady even though you already own a legal copy.

What do you mean by clean de disc?

Clean the disc. Wipe it with a soft cloth from the center to the outside of the disc.

 

If that doesn't work.

 

Well, you might be screwed. What OS are you trying to install it on?

OS= Operating System :Windows XP, windows Vista etc.

^ I don't think you can run RCT2 on Vista. I have the same problem.

^Wrong. I have RCT2 on Home Premium and it runs fine.

 

That's why I still make RCT2 parks alot on other forums, it does work on vista, it just depends on how you install it really.

I too have vista and it works fine. You have to switch the property of the game over to XP.
