Wes Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ The Walt Disney World website has been drastically updated and modernized. In addition, there are hi-res image galleries and 360's for most of the major resorts, and the parks and many of the major attractions have high quality widescreen trailers like http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/epcot/attractions/mission-space/ http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/hollywood-studios/attractions/twilight-zone-tower-of-terror/ There are also a ton of trip planning videos. Overall, this was a big improvement!
niiicolaaah Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Awesome! I especially like the "Dinosaur" video, it totally captures the essence of the ride.... dark, confusing, and with random dinosaurs! I like this a lot better than the old website. It also seems to load faster (at least on my computer), which was my biggest complaint about the old website other than being confusing to navigate.
BelizeIt Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 That site is definitely looking better. So Wes did you work on these site improvements? What exactly do you do for the Mouse anyhow? (Mouseketeer, Imagineer, Eisner-In-Training)
Swimace Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 I think it's an improvement over the old site, although they still have room to improve when it comes to being easy to navigate. I also noticed a few typos and misspellings while browsing the site, so hopefully Disney will clean this up quickly. i.e. DINOSAUR, a thrill ride for big kids, tenns and adults
mcjaco Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 DINOSAUR, a thrill ride for big kids, tenns and adults Isn't Tenn the home fo the Creationist museum? What better way to explain dinosaurs!
ginzo Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Isn't Tenn the home fo the Creationist museum? What better way to explain dinosaurs! Nah, it's in Northern Kentucky, right by the Cincinnati airport. I keep meaning to go and post a TR, but I'm waiting until I can gather a large group of friends for the project.
