Chris Benvenuto Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Dude, this park was epic. I loved it, I really hope you do something like this for Six Flags. I would love it, and good luck with school!
the ghost Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Dude, this park was epic. I loved it, I really hope you do something like this for Six Flags. I would love it, and good luck with school! A while ago I would have totally agreed about the six lags idea, but in my mind the chain as a whole is showing SOOO much improvement that it just seems mean. The Dark Knight may not be a great ride, but it is a HUGE step in the right direction. Good luck at school, Goliath. I know what that's like, I've got finals tomorrow, but am taking a break right now.
Chris Benvenuto Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Well, take my idea and whack the chain during the Pre-Dan Synder era. I'm sure there's enough material in there to deal with. BTW, I got a missing data file for the park, anyone know what it is? It was RideTesJ and a bunch of numbers.
Goliath513 Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 My friend R.C. and I made a Six Flags style park last year that he is still working on since I dropped out. http://rcprocommunity.com/showthread.php?t=794 This one is not for purposes of bashing because as said, the chain has shown considerable improvement. Chris, here is the RIDETESJ.DAT file to download that you said you're missing. RIDETESJ.DAT
Chris Benvenuto Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 And now I need JETPLAN.dat.... More missing files, can you send me an email of every file you used on the park?
Chris Benvenuto Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Sorry for the slight bump but, after working some things out with him, I managed to open the park and it was cool. I personally thought the B&M Hyper named Firehorse was a nice play on what we came up with here on TPR in the Diamondback thread. Overall, very funny and very nice park 9/10! (Only because I thought SkyHawk would work and to my amusement I was wrong. )
Goliath513 Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 Recent coaster related activity inspired me to do a little more "bashing" on the park. SCR5.BMP From an interview with Cedar Fair about the park's 2009 season: "Holy s#!+ we're so hardcore. We put two yellow coasters next to each other and still made the park as good as Cedar Point! Gawd! I'm so big,..." said Dick. Does any part of this fake interview remind anyone of anything *real* this bad? SCR3.BMP The ride was supposed to be removed to make way for a new for 2010 coaster, but the project was moved to another Cedar Fair park due to excessive fanboy speculation. So for 2009, Diamond Back will make an epic return after it closed early last season for the planned removal. SCR2.BMP Diamond Back is going the path of Nighthawk by receiving the same new colors for 2009. Goodbye one of a kind color scheme. SCR4.BMP OMFGZ SHIFTKEY ITZ TEH YELLOW BM TRAXX!!1!1 In other news, this will be the first B&M aquatrax. Yes, the mysterious yellow B&M is going to the middle of nowhere Mormon country in southern Idaho under the name "Backlot Possessed Waterhawk." SCR1.BMP Another classic log flume becomes the victim of Cedar Fair's strictly enforced log flume discrimination policy.
thrillgeek Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I'm so glad you decided to bring another update back Sam! I wish I was there for the real interview. I would of laughed right in the middle of it and got kicked out! Love the multi color Diamondback! I'm sure more people will ride it that way!
DBru Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 "Holy s#!+ we're so hardcore. We put two yellow coasters next to each other and still made the park as good as Cedar Point! Gawd! I'm so big,..." said Dick. LOL, that's priceless. Glad to see you continue this park...if only for a short while.
CoasterMaker96 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Great park. I'm working on a new RCT3 ride and i'll put screenshots up soon.
Arrow Fan 13 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I want to know what coaster is going in the old log flume area because I been waiting for one year for new park photos, come on update this post with coaster pictures.
Chris Benvenuto Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 ^ Huge bump, and pointless revival. Usually when a park thread falls into obivilion, it means the author is done or not inspired to work on it. Please remember this in the future.
Goliath513 Posted October 12, 2010 Author Posted October 12, 2010 I want to know what coaster is going in the old log flume area because I been waiting for one year for new park photos, come on update this post with coaster pictures. Never going to happen. I haven't touched this park in over a year and I don't plan to build any more on this. Check NE for screens of a new project of mine in the upcoming months if you're interested though.
