SluggoBear
So what's the scoop for Space Mountain in California? Is it going to open in time for the 50th Anniversary celebration? Re-tracked, new effects and everything?
robbalvey
I have heard that it's not opening until November. Anyone know if that's the case? I've also heard it's the exact same track layout, but with new theming. Does seem like there hasn't been too much officially announced on this, especially since it's re-opening this year. --robb
BurritoKing99
exact same track layout? man i wanted some loops in there
socalMAN123
I happen to know that the track layout will be staying the exact same this year for reopening. The only thing changing is some IMMENSE special effects. But I can't belive it, about five years of special effects? That's crazy!

Sir Clinksalot
IMMENSE special effects! WTF? IMMENSE, its been closed for years and all we get is IMMENSE special effects? i wanted a totally different ride The track is the same layout, but it's all new track. It's not like they kept the old track and just added effects. The ENTIRE ride has been gutted and re-done.

socalMAN123
As I have heard from my friends at Disney, it will not open in December unless something strange happens or they don't go as fast as they planned. I can't wait to get my first credit on the "new" Space Mountain!
