AlmereStars Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Heey another "Pit" ! I got one suggestion, in the pic with that huge building and STallions station at the back. why does the queu of stallion has blocky walls? like this: (don't mind the "=") ====_______ _____| instead of this: =====_____________ ______/ you know what I mean? I think that would look better, I dont if the walls you are using have those type of walls, but the Rock walls @ Shyguys Circus sets have it
BelgianGuy Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 A suggestion for what you can do with the park is make a water ride because you have 2 coasters, a rather intense thrill ride and in my opinion your park can use a calmer ride. I'd make it in a sort of mountainous terrain with a waterfall going over a lift hill or somthing like that, think of the waterfall of the stormrunner I bet you can put somthing nice together. and maybe a nicely themed playground if you have the stuff to build it(cs and custom rides). I'd also like to see some more 'visible' landscaping and foliage because its alot of buildings for the moment(wich are totally awesome). I have to say your doing a great job and I hope I was of help to you.
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 6, 2008 Author Posted November 6, 2008 ====_______ _____| instead of this: =====_____________ ______/ That makes no sense at all, sorry. Maybe you could put something together to show me........ Try editing one of the overview shots to show me. A suggestion for what you can do with the park is make a water ride because you have 2 coasters, a rather intense thrill ride and in my opinion your park can use a calmer ride. I see what you mean, I'll see what i can come up with! Also you mentioned a Waterfall, That got replaced by a tunnel but I see what your trying to say, so again, I'll see what I can come up with. Also you said about how the landscaping isn't that 'Visible' And again, I see what you mean so I'll add some more hills, there is a huge piece of land that has nothing on it, I don't know if I've shown any Screens of it, but it's inbetween Stallion's Track and Bandit's track. I have added some terrain to it and I will add more trees, and possible a playground and some gentle rides on it. Thanks for the replies anyway guys, I'll try to update as often as I can but i'm sort of getting sidetracted by some other games I've got that I havn't been playing in a while. More Maybe this weekend! Thanks, KP.
Alix Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Waw !! The B&M and the Intamin must be the two most realistic coaster i ever seen in RCT3 ! Specially the B&M who is exactly like a real, it's not all the days we see that on RCT3, congratulations !! Woaw ! I was crying that we couldn't make great coasters with RCT3, but you show me we can
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 6, 2008 Author Posted November 6, 2008 ^ Aww..... Gee, thanks man! You've really made my day........ although it's almost over! So you can make my day for tomorrow in advance! Although I must confess that the B&M Isn't much my design really, I took a look at something from Atari and copied it, because I was having trouble with building Rollercoasters people suggested that I did some recreations so I did one of someone else's coaster. And sort of changed it so I could post it here. It's ok though, I have permission to 'Borrow' his ride. Here's what I'm thinking about next....... Bear in mind, It's only a thought! It may not happen! I'm going to play around and see what I can come up with. More soon! Thanks for looking!
traincrossin Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 An Aquatrax? That's awesome! Plus it would be a coaster and water ride. I think that you should just build some cleverly hidden flat rides and just make the park grow in general. Just think, if you walked into this park what would you like to see.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Hmm.... Very well done! Nice photo's and good place to start the S&S drop tower. I personally think the Aquatrax would be good dueling or being close to Bandit. Keep up the good stuff!
BelgianGuy Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 If you were to do an aquatrax I'd suggest doing it in a more atlanits theme or such, that could work out real nicely if you ask me. Or you could make a wild west giant flume and call it niagra or victoria falls.
monkeyoverlord71 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 What coaster type were you thinking of using?
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 8, 2008 Author Posted November 8, 2008 Well, I would use a CTR with B&M Track with the Water Coaster cars on it. I've already done that part.
AlmereStars Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 I would use CTR with Giga Coaster track with the water coaster cars about the previous post with the _| and _/ stuff, never mind
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 10, 2008 Author Posted November 10, 2008 Phase Two Update 1: Let Phase Two begin! Sorry it's taken me two extra days but I've got the update never the less! So, not much has happened, I have three pictures to show you....... News: - The Aquatrax will come at a later date, It just wouldn't fit inb with the theme I have planned for Phase Two. - I have planned a Coal Mining theme for Phase Two, I'm grabbing as much Mining related scenery as possible at the moment! That's all for the news so now, onto the pictures! I'm kicking Phase Two off with yet another coaster! That puts the total up to Three! I'm unsure of a name at the moment, but I need to get it finished and start to build up the surrounding area first! It's about 2/3 supported as you can see. I have no idea what you call this element...... Things you should know: - It's a 'B&M Flyer' - The layout is probably unrealistic for it's kind. - I don't care about number two. It looks good in my opinion! Well, that's it for now. I'll have more up by the end of the week, I promise! Thanks for looking, KP.
BelgianGuy Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 It doesn't look that unrealistic in my eyes(its buildable i guess). If I were you i'd landscape it some more and lots of trees and stuff so you'll have the feeling of really going through a forest or so, But you said you'd be theming in minning kind of way so I guess you'll figure it out
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Yeah, not bad, maybe change the weird "I don't know what to call this element" from the weird turns to 2 large corkscrews. Would that work?
kamikazewatermelon Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 ^Actually that element is my favorite part of the ride! Keep it.
triggernel Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Your coaster looks great . I am just wondering how you are going to theme it to mining, unless you named it something to do with a ghost from an old haunted mine, just a thought.
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 Thanks for the comments guys. Well, obviously the name needs to be changed and the colours and it needs landscaping and it needs fully supporting. I'm keeping the element though.
KPWoCkAxX Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 Bandit POV Hey, Here's the POV Link for Bandit. I hope you like it. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=VnnZuRZh4j4 Also here's the logo. Logo For Bandit
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Hmm.... I like it! The video's good and the logo's interesting. Great job!
triggernel Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Awesome, not really what I was expecting, but really sweet!
Steffen_Dk Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Nice ride.. How did you make the train stop before the launch part?
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Did you notice the block brakes? Put 2 or three before the launch. It works!
BelgianGuy Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 That was an awesome ride!!! It felt really controlled and real, the support are really cool and I loved the tunnel. Can I just ask why you break before the airtime hills because it felt a little slow at that part, but for the rest it is a great coaster.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I noticed that too. Another thing with the cleverness of the brakes I think.
