Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Hello to anyone that may be watching or just browsing through this topic! Welcome to Six Flags Ultimate Adventure! It's a new kind of themepark that will not only provide mindbreaking thrills and a great family atmosphere, but also amazing animal shows and a waterpark. Today the park was opened for photograperes to take pictures of the entrance and the park layout.

Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 16, 2008 Author Posted September 16, 2008 Uhhhh................. Oooppps! I didn't realize that. But anyways, the park has begun construction on several rides and many have been completed. I'll post more once I get home tonight.
joffs115 Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I can't see the pics either. Are you going to change the name of your park because, as it has already been pointed out, it's the same as BRTeller's?
mcjaco Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 ^ Considering he hasn't been on TPR since that last post, I'd say it's a bit tough to fix his uploaded pictures. Â
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 Actually, I was at school. But yeah, I'll try to fix them. I wonder why they showed up ok on the preview............ And yes, I'll try to find a new name.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 Ok, I managed to edit one photo. This is a test..... Â Ok, I tested it and it works! So I'll see if I can do it on the other ones that failed. And finally, a shot from just above the falls as the overview. Some random trees that are..... just there for the look I guess! A mesa just north of those trees. Trees in the area that will later be home to an animal enclosure. Rocky ground around the falls. I put lights at the bottem for the same reason. I also put mist producers to make a more realistic effect. The island on top of the mountain. Notice the lights on top of the falls; I put them there to allow visitors to see the falls at night. The crammed midway to the right of the entrance. The entrance with some party pieces.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 I wonder why. I posted it and now everything shows up. Weird....... Anyone else having problems like pufferfish?
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 I reposted the 1st set. That's what the last set was.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 Now, since the pictures of the first layout have been posted, I'll move on to the rides! Overview. The Ring of Fire, pretty popular. The parks giant wheel was built pretty quickly. A small food court was also set up yesterday. Some track was delivered for the first big coaster yesterday. Wonder what it'll be.......
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 18, 2008 Author Posted September 18, 2008 The newest name for the park has been decided! It is....(drum roll)........... Six Flags Ultimate Adventures! Since you can indulge your senses in the thrill of world class coasters, great family fun, friendly staff, and animals and shows, it'll be an adventure that'll stand alone as one of the country's greatest parks!
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 This update includes a new animal enclosure, a random shark, and Vertigo^. Overview. As you can see, VertiGo^ has some huge lines, and with 6 peeps per ride, it'll take a while for them to get through it...... Hey, SharkTums! What's going on? The new animal enclosure that will be filled with animals soon enough!
Steffen_Dk Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Okay - here are some tips to an improvement of this. Â 1. Try not to spread the things out, as you've done here (the zoo thing) 2. Finish the landscaping before you start building; flat land looks dead a boring, and that HUGE box plateau looks a little bit out of place (and so does the small extremely steep one) 3. Trees and other plants make miracles.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 Yes, I do agree with that. Actually, that plateau is just supposed to be there as a waterfall, and that mesa is a landform that's there for a little bit of spice. But don't worry, I'll make them look more natural.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 23, 2008 Author Posted September 23, 2008 Ok, sorry for the hold up. I finally managed to smooth the terrain, plus add some features to it that make it more fitting. I also added trees and other stuff. And, because I was gone for a while, quite a lot has happened! You'll see what I mean......... Overview. Â Ooops! Forgot to take a shot of Scream! and Mouse Trap, the two starting coasters! Sorry about that. Some trees were added to make it a little bit more friendly. And teaser for you to figure out....... The enclosure was just filled with a couple of elephants. The carousel. It was naughty, so it gets a "down-time" out! The entrance to the ferry next to the giant wheel.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted October 9, 2008 Author Posted October 9, 2008 Sorry for the lack of updates! I just got to processing my photos. Tonight's update includes a few pics of Scream!, Mouse Trap, and the new bumper cars. Finally, the park has a theme park essential! Bumper Cars! The last helix of Scream!, since I just found it..... VertiGo. Umm.......... Still popular. Here's Mouse Trap, the parks wild mouse. Testing has just finished! Now open! Going through the first part of the coobra. OR the loop. I can't tell..... The loop and the rest 1st half layout. The 2nd part was edited because the barrel roll that is there was too intense. So they just ordered a loop from B&M. Here we go! We begin with a lift to the top of the hill. But before you finish, a Hulk-style launch occurs and you get shot up the lift and tossed through a loop that's even taller than the lift!
andre8 Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 The rides look a little "humdrum" with no station buildings.
KPWoCkAxX Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 I must admit, You're trying I can tell, but yet it all seems, how can I put this without being offensive...... Poorly done. Because to be honest, the waterfall is just bad, It's too square and WAY too large. Try making the sides of it smoother and gradually blending into the lower ground, not just a shear drop. You need to theme more, just plopping a few rides here and there isn't the best thing to do really. Add a few building here and there, perhaps cover that food court. I know you can make this park look great, You just need to work at it really hard. Â I'm sorry if you found any of that too be harsh, it's just my opinion. Good luck with this park, KP.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted October 10, 2008 Author Posted October 10, 2008 ^Don't worry about offending me or being too harsh! I take any criticism or compliments and always try to do better! Thank you for your opinion, I agree that I could do a lot better. I won't do my next update until I have improved upon those things a bit. Â ^Yes, stations are WAY boring without a building or structure around it. I'm just not the person that does that stuff. I have created better stations, so I'll find one that can fit Scream! as best as I can!
KPWoCkAxX Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 That's all right then. I really don't like being mean to people. Glad you are going to make it look better, can't wait until the next update!
