ADMIN EDIT: Locked via request from Airtime. Park is closed.

So, after a five year hiatus, I've started playing RCT2 again.

Due to drastic changes, the photos have been removed. All you need to know if you are new to this thread is that what I had at first was pretty bad, but it is a lot better now.

Park History:

In the early 1950s, a kiddieland opened in Lake Delton, Wisconsin. The park was moderately successful, but it never became as popular as the owners hoped it would. In the 1970s, the owners transformed the small park into a larger regional park. Even with this growth, the park remained family friendly, but it still struggled to make a name for itself in the Wisconsin Dells area.

This would all change in the 1980s. The new owners worked at creating a resort, and the massive Legacy at the Crossroads resort was built. The new owners also added new attractions to the amusement park such as the Orient Express coaster and the Pirate Cove water park.

The park was finally starting to make a name for itself, but the Legacy project pushed the owners on the verge of bankruptcy. Once again, the project was purchased by a group of foreign investors. The new owners continued to expand the park, and the park had finally become the large regional park that the original owners had hoped for when they originally opened the park. In 2006, the park was sold to Parques Reuindos, and the park continues to grow.

^It won't look so spread out when I'm finished, but it'll look spread out for a while as I'm only working a little bit at a time. I've been working on this park for probably close to three months, so it isn't high on my to-do list. As for the changing scenery, I see what you mean, but I didn't want it to look repetitive. I'll find a way to fix it as my skills improve.

^I thought of that, but there are parks with more than the 13 to 16 I plan for this park. I never intended for this park to be 100 percent realistic as this park will probably rival Cedar Point/ 1999 SFGADV for number of flat rides. This park is just me trying to have fun building a large park, but still trying to be somewhat realistic.

Time for an an update.

Note:

1. Some scenery items that I used in scenario editor didn't show up when I left editor mode.

2. The water park I was originally planning will not end up in this park, but it will on a new map that I am working on that will be part of the resort.

3. The teasers at the end of the update will be from the new map.

Edit: photos in reverse order

^Thanks, I'll do my best.

I've probably worked more on this park in the past few days than I have in the previous month or two. I'm currently working on a few major attractions, and I hope to have another major update soon.
