trav Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Starting this back up. I'm also calling out to Brits who can play Rct to give me a hand with some of it. So far, I've got about half of Towers Street and Air done. Although I'm not sure if I put Air in the right place. D:
Hand 0f Time Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 I must say that area of the park sure does look nice how you made it.
Thelegendarymatthew Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Using the RCT2 Map. Air would be in the North West area of the park. The park looks great!
DBru Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 By the one shot you provided, I can already tell that this will be AMAZING!
Ben Burnett Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Lookin' pretty snazzy. I really like the compactness of how everything creates a village-ish look like a real park.
trav Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 Thanks everyone. I've got a few other projects that I'm working on at the moment (I can show pictures of them as well if people want), so there won't be very frequent updates on this, but as soon as I think I've got something worth posting, I'll be here. I'm going to Alton again on Wednesday, so I'll probably have a bit more inspiration for this after that.
coastercrazy216 Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 So far so good, but that could change really quickly.
kalvin Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Have you gotten anything else done with this park?
trav Posted October 6, 2008 Author Posted October 6, 2008 Ahh. Thanks for bumping this back up for me. I couldn't find it. I have got more done, but not enough for another screenshot yet. I'll copy my latest post from CF... I've kind of hit a roadblock in the shape of Duel. I've found pictures that show me the layout and everything like that. The only problem is the scale. To get even the outside anywhere near as detailed as the real thing, it'll need to be twice the size that I wanted it. I've found the right objects for the building as well, after experimenting with different colours and different blocks for about an hour. What I think I'm going to do is build the actual inside first though. Get that out of the way, because that is obviously the most important part of the ride. I'll then try to squeeze the front on, and try to make it look as good as I can. I might end up missing details (like windows), but who needs them, eh?
