KPWoCkAxX Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Hi, My name is Freddy Collins! I'm going to be applying for a job at Freshwater Metropolis, And showing you each and every construction update! So lets start with this little look at the first part of the parks construction. First, The Parks Logo: Took me a while to come up with this one to be honest. However, I like it! The land being built on: As you can see there needs to be alot done! More trees will be added aswell as getting ALOT more ground painting done. The first bit on construction: The construction screw have started to lay down the paths and the foundations of the entrance buildings. There will be alot more work done on this area. Thanks for looking, More soon, KP. Edit: Fixed Image Sizes.
KPWoCkAxX Posted August 27, 2008 Author Posted August 27, 2008 I'm going to leave you with a little teaser for what Fusion Studios have in mind....... Coming soon perhaps........
DBru Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Hmm...I'm guessing an Intamin Inverted Impulse coaster?
Cygnus12 Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 A teaser? Oh I see! Paul Beesley is going to be there! YES!
Kalepi_Konei Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 I'm guessing that teaser is saying Intamin rides. As for the park I would like to see an aquatrax based around that lake, that could be the parks signature attraction!
KPWoCkAxX Posted August 28, 2008 Author Posted August 28, 2008 Ok, ok I admit it, It wasn't much of a teaser. But as long as I can get the tower supports looking good it will be a great addition. Also, One question, what is an Aquatrax? Expect an update later on! Note: I am in no way afflicated with Paul Beesley, I was just looking for a picture to use. I appoligise for any problems this has caused.
KPWoCkAxX Posted August 28, 2008 Author Posted August 28, 2008 A small update for you guys! Construction is coming along quite nicely. Already a coaster has been built but I'm not showing you that because it's not done yet! I managed to grab a few shots before I was sent to do my job of planting trees (Boring, But it has to be done.) Aren't they marvelous? Well I guess I better get back to work, I'll see you later.
monkeyoverlord71 Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 aquatrax mmmmm aquatrax that would fit in quite well park looks nice looking forward to seeing it built
KPWoCkAxX Posted August 28, 2008 Author Posted August 28, 2008 Oh I see!, Similar to a log flume but It's a rollercoaster instead! How would I go about building one of these? And suggestions?
KPWoCkAxX Posted August 28, 2008 Author Posted August 28, 2008 Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know there will be a little announcement in around 10 mins, Providing my Main PC Works properly. See you soon!
KPWoCkAxX Posted August 28, 2008 Author Posted August 28, 2008 Ok so I was just finishing my shift down at the plantation area when I caught a Glimpse of some trucks arriving. I went over to see what was going on and got forcebly removed from the premises! I will be sneaking into work early tomorrow to check things out and maybe get a few shots.
KPWoCkAxX Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 I went into work this morning and as I walked through the gates and past the entrance building I noticed this. What could that possibly be? More Later!
Kalepi_Konei Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Looking totally freaking awesome! And as for going to build an aquatrax, it doesnt necassarily have to be "in" the water just as close as possible, its basically a ride that has AMAZING theming and is REALLY close to the water at some points! But it's not always close to the ground, as you can see in this POV here.
KPWoCkAxX Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 Thanks for that Kalepi_Konei! I guess i'll have to play around and see what I can come up with.
KPWoCkAxX Posted September 2, 2008 Author Posted September 2, 2008 Well, Fusion Studios Are putting alot of money into this project and here is the latest Spendage. It's A B&M Coster (I think) and Is assured to bring in many guests. Here is the first part of the Construction, More Will follow soon. As you Can see it's a VERY Irregular drop, followed by a VERY Large loop, It will follow the style of an Out And Back Coaster, But there won't be many inversions involved. There is alot of major support work on that first drop so it will need to be highly Maintained. More soon! Comments and Critisism are Highly Appreciated.
89James89 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Love the park so far looks liek you really have planned aeverything out. That drop on the new b&m (which you were right in asuming it was as it is) looks cool thoguh a little bit choppy toeards the bottom but oh well. Can't wait to see the rest fot he track. Cheers 89James89
KPWoCkAxX Posted September 2, 2008 Author Posted September 2, 2008 It may look Choppy but it runs really smooth! I didn't plan anything for this park. I opened up a new map and went mad with the landscaping, Changing things as I saw fit. There will be more pictures of the Coaster tomorrow.
Steffen_Dk Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I really like the layout so far, but I'm not too iffy about the supports; I'm pretty sure that you can do better than that
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Yeah, I agree with the supportwork. What train type will you be using? Just wondering.....
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 You know, there ARE people on this site that are not supposed to view that! WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?!??!?! You are done!
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Phew! Now what happens to russuf or whatever his name was? Account deleted? Just noticed that these posts are exactly 1 month after the last post!
KPWoCkAxX Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 I'm completely confused about those last few posts..... News: Now I know I have another park on the go so this will not be updated for some time, I'm too interested in my Project Wild Wild West to do anything more with this park at this current moment in time. Maybe some day I will continue work with this, who knows.... Thanks for looking guys.
