Team Thriller Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Can you put up a video for people without nolimits to see? I really want to ride. --James
dr.gumbo Posted August 21, 2008 Author Posted August 21, 2008 ^ Sure, I'm making one as we speak. EDIT: Finished it!
dr.gumbo Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 Here's a few photos since I've got nothing better to do.
dr.gumbo Posted August 23, 2008 Author Posted August 23, 2008 /\ Don't worry, I will. lol Thanks for the comments everybody.
AlmereStars Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 okay here we go! + Custom supports / 3d's + it's really flying, instead of laying on your back + smooth as a baby's bottom - the pace, it takes some turns quite slow. but i'm a pace freak, so that could just be me - short lay-out really good coaster, with nice custom stuff (station looks cool). But I'm dissapointed that it's quite short I think that dr.gumbo actually did a really grat job with this flyer with a good pace. Many people don't notice that flyers in Nolimits seem to lose speed very quickly and making an extremely well paced ride with exceptional amount of inversions is a difficult task. I think the layout is pretty awesome with what he was provided with... Also very smooth... mmm smooth...ies... *runs to McDonald* But I believe it was a little bit tame... just a little bit. Maybe it was the height or the lack of inversions, but just a little tame. Not much of a problem because you really concentrated on the sensation of flying which Vekoma Flyers lack in. I'm making a flyer myself right now and know the hardship of making one compared to other type of coasters. Because I have always seen dr.gumbo as my competitor in Nolimits... I am anxiously working harder to get mine finished... dr.gumbo, watch out for my flyer lol... Overall I give you 8.5/10 Good Job... Keep making coasters! that's true, it always seems slow
DBru Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 I really enjoyed the coaster! I found the pacing to be superb (for a Vekoma Flyer), it was perfectly smooth, and though short, the layout was fun. Nice work!
