Sasquatch Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Due to remarks that my last GG woodie was too smooth, i present to you my latest brain-child, Suburban Rush. Generally the ride is good, except one or two transitions were made just a little too 'Arrow', and the last turn has some fairly forceful laterals (not yellow or red though), and it even goes *almost* NINETY DEGREES!!! Enjoy! Suburban Rush.nltrack Download, comment, rate, yeah! Lat-mania!!! yeah.... Not quite NINETY DEGREES!!!! Basic layout after the lift hill Or not! Oh yeah, its TOTALLY a straight drop...
DBru Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 You never cease to amaze me... This is another AMAZING coaster from you! It was simply one of the best woodies I've seen in NoLimits. It was smooth, but not over-smooth, airtime was abundant, and it always kept me guessing at what would come next; 3 great qualities that all coasters should have!
ArrowHater Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 This was really fun! But a little short .But I loved the abundance of airtime ; laterals; and speed . Not so much the colors though. But oh well its the ride that matters!
dr.gumbo Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 In true Dbru style: This is an awesome ride. The layout was ingeniously designed and its execution was just unbelivable. I wouldn't call it the best woodie I've ever seen but its certainly one of them. The Good -Superb layout which succeeded in the 'I didn't expect that' factor -Great pacing -Astonishingly smooth -Exceedingly fun The not so good -A few trees would have been nice -Short length My Verdict A genuine example of quality over quantity. 9/10
angryemobeaver Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Very nice, it was smooth and had some great turns. I think it could of been a little bit longer. Whats up with the name though?
Sasquatch Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 Well, i was thinking of a theme and Metropolis at Flamingoland came up, so i thought 'hmmmmm they have a height limit and are on a budget, and it needs to be themed city-ish'. So i came up with the idea that the trains could be taxi cabs, but i cant make textures so i just coloured the trains instead
