Guest
Random Beech Bend truck in Pennsylvania Where hell meets good ice cream Still find it hilarious they are getting people to the park with TDK when they have El Toro and Kingda Ka right down the midway Nitro: "Wish I were as cool as Goliath or Behemoth" Gecko: "Damn straight" Everytime I see this pic it reminds me of Dougs "banging on a trashcan" (90s Nickalodeon bitch) Yeah no thanks OMG its a flat ride at GAdv! Pretty sweet view from Wiggles World GAdv likes to space these out funny, like 5 feet after this there was a sign that says "60 minutes," then 5 feet after that the sign said "30 mintues" Flashpasses dont get to decide what row to ride in here Skull Mountain was pretty sweet, awesome air in the back Why does she have a height stick? 2 rows are missing Batman logos, but they all have the wheel covers! Nitro was doing something not allowed on Raging Bull, running 3 trains with 3 people running the ride (which I greatly appreciated!) I feel like ive spent a ton of time here, am I lost? As much as I like the indoor queue, this one is much shorter which is good for a ride like this 03 style This one had an organized queue house in the preshow room, it was kinda dissapointing not getting to sit back and watch a bunch of kids fight eachother out the door The hallway leading from the pre-show to the station is shorter (this one was way better with common sense) Can I leave my loose items on the platform? Pretty cool display Admin: You might want to be more descriptive in your title if you want people to view it
astroworldfan1
Nice SFGAdv. Photo: TR! I thought Fantasy Fling was going to be removed last season. Good thing it's not. That's one of the only "thrilling" flat in the park. -Tatum
spaceace12
Good phots, but you might want to consider editing your title, it is sorta vague.

Guest
I couldve sworn I parked it right here Lame Lame Although the rides atmosphere may be lame, the actual ride was awesome Abundance of garbage cans for the parade If theres one thing GAdvs really good at its growing flowers Hudini was gone, but we rode it a few days later at SFNE Yay its running Return of the "line gets 30 minutes shorter every 5 feet" Right about when we took this picture, it broked Its a good thing we realized it broked, cause they dont like to tell people in line, so most people waited there not realizing it was broked and wasted a lot more time (didnt reopen that day), already had the credit from 05 though....so moving on Hey its a rockin tug, complete with pinneaples! Hey its racing, but still a stupid Speaking of not stupid, this thing is INSANE! This went by pretty quick After riding El Toro I had a hard time getting out of the train, and a hard time breathing Shortly after this pic, Rolling Blunder made us want to kill ourselves This was a fun mine train Lame Medusa was running better than my last visit, but still its no Kumba So one of the sides was already down....understandable, whatever. When the other side got back in the station they just parked the train and left it there all the ops gathered at the booth. We stood there for 15 minutes listening to "Rawhide" over and over wondering what the hell was going on, wanted to kill ourselves, decided GAdv sucks at life, then they finally opened the gates and let everyone on. We talked with the sup who was there for the whole thing and she said "We were debating weather add a train or not".....maybe you should debate while the rides running and close it down if your actually going to do it....and maybe you shouldnt all just stand there at controls for 15 minutes while everyone in the station is listening to Rawhide over and over again (and yes by the time we got on, it was 1/4th capacity) Shockwave time! The type of bins a lot of rides were supposed to get before the introduction of the lockers They were in the process of removing a train GASM is pretty much a smoother version of Shockwave, which was pretty awesome Wouldve waited for a train but it was running 1 Former and or current SUF ride ops standing in front of "the other" SUF (I think we can all agree are glad its only at 3 parks and is not the next BTR like many thought it would be) Horns/strobes = PANIC The ghetto control booth What? Hey its a black suit SFNE should be happy they didnt get TDK so they could get this parade!
Guest
Overall GAdv was better than my visit in 05...Nitro, Toro, and Skull Mountains crews were fast and the other ones were slow (though that was a big improvement over 05 when they were all slow). Although it seemed a bit cleaned up the place is still nasty and has a fair amount of graffiti and gum. We got to ride El Toro 6x including 4 in pitch dark so that was awesome...made up for listening to Rawhide over and over again while the Blunder wasnt running at least. Guest
Lake Compounce is a nice little small park (that happens to be across the street from ESPN world headquarters). They have a gravel parking lot and a nice wooded walk to the entrance area The security checkpoint is under a road, the entrance area reminded me a lot of SFSTL, nice small entrance area with some buildings LC is one of many to claim to be the "first amusement park in the US," whats funny is on one of the signs it says "A Kennywood entertainment company" which is another park that claims to be the US's first amusement park We rode Wildcat first We were first in line.....and waited for them to open the gates ....and waited ...and about 10 minutes later we were on The rides at LC had "interesting" theming, especially the Drop tower and the S&S swing Boulder Dash was awesome....didnt have much air but an awesome terrain setting, good speed, and long duration We only rode it a few times cause it was running 1 train with a pretty good size line They are nice enough to give free unlimited soda, and somehow he found a way to break the machine As stated earlier, the rides at LC have interesting theming This looked like a pretty sweet flume NOT looking forward to this, and its only the first one of the trip Hate my life The catch car is themed to a shark This looked awesome He was thinking of riding with a pink suit This one was really good...about 200 feet and over a lake We saw the sign "DejaVu" and naturally thought GIB themed strip club so we turned off...but it was just a bar
Guest
Hello TDK Its the bridge that leads to the park Theres definitley no lack of signs in the admissions/entrance plaza area Id love to play a game of football where TDK was supposed to be built, but the actual "challenge" they had going there looked pretty lame Was nice to get back on the worlds best steel coaster, and a day after going on the worlds best wood coaster This area was nicely themed This ride pwned GAdvs and Geauga Lakes SFNE had a very nice Wiggles World I couldnt help but laugh histarically, but who would buy a FlashPass for kiddie rides that dont get lines SFNE has a rockin tug in their Wiggles World Awesome themed wave swinger I already had the SLC credit so I just sat back and laughed while my group got raped No lockers here This was fun and doesnt get you wet I am amazed this thing still has buzzbars Having a qbot was nice here considering it was running 1 tower Not a huge fan of these, they are either lame (SFNE) or get me sick (MOA) This was down for a bit but we did get on it later Rib crushing fun My suit was a bit too high on this one, felt like I was being strangled by Hulk Hogan I take it this was a flat ride in the recent past, LOL The Skyswatter was intense Haha I already had the credit here and didnt need to ride also Sucks for them Houdini kindve dissapointed me, heard a lot of good things and just wasnt that great. Definitley worth a ride though Preshow room Reminded me of Knotts They made use of the Home Depot signs by taping a SF logo over it This was a really nice area and was looking forward to it Its too bad we didnt get to it until after the park closed (its not exactly in a great spot when your touring the park) And we leave SFNE for the New Yorks biggest SF park, none other than The Great Escape (last time I went to NY's biggest SF park it was Darien Lake)
Guest
Welcome to upstate New York! Home to many trees, really nice Six Flags hotel?, and a park We checked out the Great Escape Lodge since the park didnt open for an hour This is the lobby area The gift shop These look familiar Lounge area TGE was bigger and nicer than we thought it would be Well this sucks This one sat at the top of the first tower for awhile before dropping, by awhile I at least 30 seconds Our 4th Wiggles World in 4 days We were really dissapointed to see Rolling Thunder closed, but it did open shortly after Random "reality check" sign? Me with RT I thought these were dead at first glance Funky support A permanent model Condor! Too bad it was closed Missed credit
Erik Johnson
So who is going to be running Deja Vu while you are off riding coasters in other parks this summer? ....Oh that is right... Great trip report by the way.
Guest
Welcome to Qi-be-qua! Right when you cross the border everything turns french: complete with way hotter than average girls. Montreal It was certainly "intesting" trying to find the parking lot, but we're here First view of LaRonde from the parking lot We were all pretty happy to see the Boomerang closed From outside & the entrance plaza the park is beutiful....once you get past here it goes south The coasters were running 1 train (with the exception of Goliaths whose load times were laughable) so qbot helped out quite a bit We headed to the standup first It was pretty awkward standing next to a line full of people speaking French Guys randomly smoking pot in Cobras line This did not help the cause, all the lines were pretty long You suck at operating rides....but its okay cause your freakin hot Not for you though, you just suck Another awesome Batman clone! This was one of the most intense ive been on I really liked the standup, a bit bumpy but nothing bad and some good forces Awesome setting for a park This was not enjoyable Niether was this! This station looks like it should be at PGA Its got the extremely crappy Python style bucket seats Probably not somewhere youd want guests to be going This queue reminded me of Renegades with the permanent marker all over the walls We saw bottles of silicon spray and rags all over the ground also, good to see maintenence contributing to the parks cleanliness I actually enjoyed Le Monstre! It wasnt very rough, although the entrance to the other side was boarded up. The Carousel they put a ton of money into rehabbing, was closed Goliath! Awesome setting for a coaster, water on both sides Yeah im in French Canada, wanna fight about it? The Skycoaster wasnt open yet =( ...and this wouldve been my first rolling platform one Fail Goliath was the perfect addition to LaRonde, now all they need to do is learn how to operate rides and pick trash and they will be golden "The Dragon" was sweet/hilarious at the same time, you basically do a helix around some light up dragon and thats it Yes the windows are held on by duct tape! And it doesnt even do a full rotation. Worst observation tower ever. I love Montreal

Guest
Home to 2 great coasters, 1 "fun" but not special and 13 that SUCK I wonder what company owns this park? Mack Mouse with a big drop, it was trimmed pretty hard though A topscan! No! Why couldnt this place be nice like LaRonde and close theirs They had a very "interesting" Riptide.....no I didnt take any pics of the ride just the ride qualifier sign =P They have a powered mine train that goes through the centerpiece mountain. It was pretty cool but very short, it does 2 cycles Best Arrow suspended coaster ive been on As if this park didnt already have a crappy enough SLC, they went and got a small SLC Awesome Carousel! As Told By Ginger poster! Do I have to go to this area of the park? Hello! Yes the ride was down and locked out, but it looked cool nonetheless The name sucks almost as much as the ride Look whats next to the SLC! They should rename this part of the park "Corner of death!" I was actually looking forward to the Volare after hearing so many bad things, thought "maybe its one of those rides that everyone hates that ill like"....WRONG. This thing SUCKED! Worst coaster and biggest death trap in the world. This thing is wrong in so many ways, it must not be legal in some states. Jump2 The good ole DejaVu "B seats" Wasnt as good as Kings Islands cause it didnt play "Oh ah just a little bit" in line =( The Togo standup was AWESOME! No joke, this thing had insane air in the front row Its the last day of the trip, why not pick up some random Canadian chick
