So I just finished the new Paramount survey about their "identity". It seems that Viacom is splitting in two, and the parks will now be under the CBS television portion. There were all these weird questions about what I thought CBS would bring to the table vs. Viacom or other companies like Marvel Comics (I voted for this one), ABC and even Fox. (A Family Guy dark ride would kick ass...)

So I guess my question is this: what the hell does it matter? CBS is still owned by Viacom, so who cares about it? Seems like a waste of time to me, they should be focusing more on getting some better rides into the place and not on their damn name.

That's just my rant, I'm off my soapbox now. SLAYER!

Why can't it just be "Great America" or "King's Island" or "Canada's Wonderland"? I don't know about anyone else, but all this “name a company after something” shit needs to end. For example: I loved the name of the Giants stadium "Pac Bell" reminded me that the park was like the bell of the pacific ocean. Not that it's "SBC Park" I just feel so violated and used. Geauga Lake... for as long as I can remember, the old Geauga Dog had rides sponsored my companies. The "Bigger Dipper" sponsored by 84 Lumber Co, the "Corkscrew" sponsored by Pepsi. WHO FREAK'N CARES! Can I just go to a place, not be overwhelmed with corporate names and logos. It's all about money. And money makes the would go round. Well I think that's crap!

So how is the Viacom stock doing?

I had to change so many of my video titles from

Paramount's Canada Wonderland

to

Paramount Canada's Wonderland

Of course I figured that out on like the 6th video file...

Coming to a Paramount park near you...

"CSI: The Ride"

I'm still waiting for "Law and Order: The Ride" to come to Universal.

Wow, this from the parks that are installing a multi-camera on-ride video DVD system on their little Miler kiddie coaster.
