Jman0477
I really want to visit Six Flags: Kentucky Kingdom in August. I am noticing that the park is closed during the State fair. Would anyone know if they keep any of the rides open, in the park, while the fair is going on?
Erik Johnson
Hey, I noticed that you are new to Theme Park Review, so welcome. I just wanted to remind you of a few things about our posting rules: 1. Be Descriptive! Your topic title and your description should give some DETAILED information about what your topic is about! Chances are, more people will click on your topic and give you feedback. There are two lines for you to describe your topic. The first is the main title, the second is a descriptor. Topics with little to no description may be locked or deleted. Whenever you post a topic, please be descriptive. Simply typing, "Kentucky Kingdom" really does not let other readers know what your topic is about. 3. SPELL CHECK YOUR POSTS!!!! There is a completely FREE spell checker available with the Google toolbar. A typo here and there is completely acceptable. We all are guilty of this. But when someone can't READ your post due to bad spelling, grammar, lack of capitalization, all caps (in posts OR thread titles) etc, that's a problem. If you aren't a good speller (and I totally admit I would be lost without my spellchecker) download it now: http://toolbar.google.com/ I am assuming that English is your first language, so please just spend a little more time polishing your posts. Thanks again!
DBru
I highly suggest you visit the park during the state fair. If you go on a Thursday(?), I believe those are wristband days. A wristband usually costs $21, and allows you to ride all of the rides on the midway AND in SFKK. During the fair hours, the park is exactly the same (all rides running) as it is during normal operation hours. Plus, admission is FREE if you purchase a wristband and enter through the Thrill Park Theatre gate. Attending the state fair will get you 3 extra credits (if you are a whore, that is ), plus some really fun carnival rides, such as the Fireball (KMG Afterburner), Power Surge, and Spin Out! Hope this helps, and have a great time!
ETapley0687
^ Is that the main carnival rides they have there? I've also thought about going too, but I didn't know if it would be worth it. I love the Space Roller (Top Scan) and I would definitely travel from TN to ride that lol.
DBru
^Sorry, no Top Scan... I will post all of the rides I can think of later.
