riccoaster Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Hey theres this new park thats opened up in Euless, Texas. Heres a statement I found from Jack, Russel the owner. I thought about making this park by a dream, A dream to let people have a good time, have A smile on their face. I plan to keep this park Family oriented as long as I'm here. We will be continuously building this year, for we had to open 3/4 done. We'd like to find old rides restore them and add them to the park. We plan to become the next Knoebels. Wow I hope they can keep that look. Anyway here are some pictures I took today. The Mad Mouse coaster. The Morgan Carousel. Caterpillar A relocated ride from some defunct park. On the right corner is Rotor another relocated ride from that same park. I'll be back later tomorrow to take more pictures.
Pufferfish Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Looks nice, just one thing, there's too many trees. I can barely see any of those flat rides. Other than that, there's not much to comment on, can't wait to see this park fill out.
riccoaster Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 It's supposed to have a lot of trees it's gonna be a very shaded/forest park.
spaminacan11 Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 ^^I understand wanting to have a very shady, forest park, but is a forest all trees? Are the not also shrubs, and things of that sort? Add some of those and believe me, it will look much better. Other than that though, I think it looks very simple, but I really like the simplicity of it. Looks like a nice small park. Reminds me of Funtown Splashtown in Maine for some reason..
Hand 0f Time Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Pretty decent. Just don't have so many trees and it'll be good.
riccoaster Posted April 29, 2008 Author Posted April 29, 2008 Hey I returned to the park today and found that the ugly tall fence removed which means..... New Rides! Swings is what you see first. Next up is Twister a powered kiddie coaster. Finely theres Super Round Up a Round Up Ride. And I'll leave you with an overview.
Pufferfish Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Yay! Less trees, I can now see the rides! Anyways, the park is a nice compact park, it would be great if you were to keep it this way.
DBru Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Great update! The park has a lot of charm---keep it that way!
Hand 0f Time Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Good spacing of the pathways and the rides. Not many people seem to understand that now-a-days. This is turning out great so far.
