Well, due to popular demand the Mini-Hyper poll is being re-done. There is a few things I want to point out:

a) Do not vote if your coaster is part of the contest

b) Do not vote if you haven't ridden ALL of the rides

All you have to do is ride the rides and tell us which you think is best. Without futher ado, here are the contestants.

Here are the majority of the rides

The rest of the rides can be found below.

(Yankee Cannonball can't do this hence the reason why I'm doing it)

Operation X2 Depth Charge.nlpack

Dr.gumbo's (if you have track packager)

Operation X2 Depth Charge.nltrack

Dr.gumbo's

hurricane.nltrack

DATman's

Sry. I haven't noticed this before now..

I'll divide my rating into ... categories:

1.Technically, which includes g's, smoothness, T-test + E-test (max. 15 points)

2. Adrenaline, which includes speed, drops and twists/turns (max. 15 points)

3. Originality, which only includes the layout (max. 5 points)

Here's my opinion about the coasters

Jungle Fever by Jamjar

Technically:

G's = 5 points. I couldn't find any red or yellow.

Smoothness = 2.0 points. Most of it was smooth, but I could find one hill which I think was a little weird. The worst thing though, was the lift hills. First of all, some of them were banked, and second of all they weren't straight.

T-test and E-test = 5 points. It passes both

Total: 12 points

Adrenaline

Speed = 3.5. Nice speed, but it wasn't totally insane/fantastic; some hills were taken with a very low speed in my opinion. And the last part with all that transportation was a bit boring too

Drops = 4. That was pretty good. Especially the second lift hill and the drop after that were really funny.

Twists'n'turns = 2.5. Pretty average I think...

Total: 10 points

Originality

Layout = 3.0. That was totally awesome; or the first part was. Again the second lift/drop was pretty innovative, but the last transportation part; no that was really boring (not to be rude), but it was. You could easily skip that part...

Clondo Hyper by Divemaster

Technically:

G's = 5. Couldn't find any yellow or red

Smoothness = 4. Overall pretty smooth. Some parts though, I think was a little to "hard", but also pretty cool in some way..

T-test and E-test = 5. Passes both

Adrenaline

Speed = 3. Let us start with the bad thing first. That was the lift hill; OMG how quick was that? I usually like fast lifts, but this one was a little too much.. But okay - it made the rest of the coaster pretty fast and intense considering its size.

Drops = 3.5. It wasn't the wildest thing ever, but it was pretty fun. Lots of airtime and some pretty intense drops/hills.

Twists'n'turns = 3.5. The turnaround was great and so was the twisty hills. Still some of the turns could have been a little more intense, I think.

Originality

Layout =3.0. Nothing new here, but all the airtime hills counts :-P

Madobe Night by DrachenFire

Technically:

G's = 1.5. Sorry, but this wasn't the greatest. I could count 7 red g's and 8 yellow That would really hurt in real life..

Smoothness = 2.0. It both had smooth and not so smooth parts. The start was pretty okay, I think, but you could have made the end a little bit better. The airtime hills were too extreme...

T-test and E-test = 5.0. It passes.

Adrenaline

Speed = 3.0. That was pretty okay. It wasn't the wildest, but it wasn't the most tame coaster either. Perhaps the speed over some of the hills was a little too fast, but overall this part was good

Drops = 2.5. I don't know what to say here. I think it was pretty average. But okay; the drop after the second hill was fun..

Twists'n'turns = 3.0. Good too. I liked the long parts which only featured turns, if you can call it so..

Total: 8.5 points

Originality

Layout = 3.5. Weee. The idea is pretty good; it just needs to be smoothed out. The lift tunnels were a great thing; I had no idea of how high it was!

Total: 3.5

Coaster total: 20.5 points

Malibu Maniac 4 by DBru

Technically:

G's = 5. I could only see green colours

Smoothness = 3.5. Pretty good I think. In fact the coaster was pretty much smooth everywhere, but it had some weird bankings - especially after the turnaround.

T-test + E-test = 5.0. Passes

Total: 13.5 points

Adrenaline

Speed = 2.5. It was average when it comes to speed. The start was pretty okay, but the end was way to slow, I think. Though it went with like 60km/h there, I felt that it was very very slow.

Drops = 3.0. The first drop = LOVE! The small drop just before the bigger was fantastic - reminds me a lot of Falken (Fårup Sommerland). Other than that the rest was just normal. Nothing WOW, but nothing bad either.

Twist'n'turns = 2.0. That part was a bit lame, I think. Well the first drop twist was brilliant, but I also think that it was the only exciting turn. The turnaround wasn't the best; I think you should have made it more tight.

Total: 7.5 points

Originality

Layout = 3.0 Well it's wasn't the most bad thing ever, but it wasn't the most interesting either. Just pretty average; still the first drop counts ;-p

Total: 3.0 points

Coaster total: 24 points

More rating later!

^Just to point out, the body can handle all of the yellow g's, so you really should not count those against anyone. Red g's I understand, but yellow g's are perfectly acceptable.

I know that, but 100 % green g's is still the most perfect. It also depends on where the yellow g's are...

I forgot to say subtract one from mine. I accidentally voted before reading the whole "don't vote if you posted a coster". Really sorry about that.

To be honest I'm getting confused about all of this, I think we shoud just declare this a draw and move on. Its beggining to get tiresome.

No because you specified:

a) Do not vote if your coaster is part of the contest

And then look at the detailed results and you see that, DATman and DBru both voted for DATman's track, and by your rules these votes are both invalid, which makes Divemasters Clondo Coaster the winner.

Posted

^ Thats not the problem, its the fact that these results are entirely different to the ones on the original.

I'm going to be selfish for a minute because I don't think this is fair. I won the original poll fair and square because A) I asked to vote for myself because my track wasn't put on the initial post and B) I would of got the most votes anyway.

Unfairly, a lot of people voted for themselves anyway and becasue of this Yankee Cannonball asked me to re-do the poll and when the new poll was done, I jumped from first to last meaning I lost the contest because other people cheated.

I'm not usually a sour loser, but I don't like misjustice. Thats why I'm calling this a draw!

^^How is my vote invalid? I didn't vote for myself! I was the one who complained that everyone else voted for themselves!

And yeah, let's just call it a draw. This has gone on long enough... lol

^ You are a participant, and by the rules you are not be allowed to vote.

The easy way to one of these polls is that if you want to vote then you may not vote for your own, simple.

No votes. Hooray for wallowing in obscurity.

Only now do I realize that my entry was as jerky as it was (spoiler: it was jerky), but I still think I did alright for a first upload.
